Wedding Wednesday...

Ever since I started getting into this blogging thing I realized that everyone who has a "newlywed blog" has pictures of their wedding day. I mean, how am I a newlywed if I have no wedding pictures up?! Bad me! I've also noticed that the newly married ladies dedicate Wednesdays to talking about their wedding days. So, I guess I can start until I am done recapping the whole day with pictures. Sound like a plan?

It is a lil less than 6 months ago but I can't remember every single detail. I remember waking up with my best friends, eating breakfast, taking a shower and heading to the salon to get our hairs done. After we got our hair done we rushed to the hotel where my MOH and I got our makeup done. Photographer & videographer shortly arrived and that is when the day just kinda flew.

My husband and I decided to see each other before the ceremony and it was the right decision for us! It was the best day of my life (so far). I just remember feeling more beautiful than I've ever felt and being so happy to be surrounded by all our friends and family. But most of all, I remember how excited DH and I were to finally be getting hitched. It was an amazing day and some days I am sad that planning is over but then I realize if it wasn't, I wouldn't be enjoying being a newlywed as much as I am. I love my husband so much and am so thrilled to be his wife; and completely blessed that God made him for me.

Playing around with my layout ...

I have been blogging for almost 4 months and for a little while I thought that blogging wasn't for me. Lately, I actually want to blog! I still can't figure out how some people have such amazing designing but the options I have aren't really that great. So, this is my third switch. I like it today. I wonder how long that will last.

My guilty pleasure returns TONIGHT!!!

I don't know about you but I cannot wait for The Hills premiere tonight! I watched Lauren since Laguna Beach and my loyalty continued when she "grew" up and graduated to The Hills. I admit that it is nothing like it use to be when Lauren was on the show but it is still addicting and the drama never ends. I knew the show wouldn't last long without Lauren and of course this is now their last season. I am kinda sad. What will be my new guilty pleasure? I hope MTV has something just as great up their sleeves.

This is how I will always remember my favorite show ... when it was perfect!

Rugby game in a lil while ...

I should be making breakfast but I am on this computer. I finally purchased the shoes I've been stalking for a few days and was so excited to see that the price was lowered by $25.00!!! I almost jumped out of my chair and I quickly purchased them just in case the price changed, lol. Husband will love them; I am sure ... haha.

Sean has a rugby game at 9am and another at 1pm. My girlfriend texted me last night and wanted to know if I would rather go at noon to watch our husbands play. I was all about it! I can't watch rugby for 4 hours. I can't relax everytime I see Sean about to go in for a tackle. But he loves the sport so I go and support him every time.

When I first started dating Sean I would tell all his teammates that if anyone went near Sean, I would run onto the field, with my stilettos in my hands and knock someone with it. Luckily, it has never come down to that. So, I am going to make breakfast, take a warm shower and go out there with a game face! I hope they win because if not I will hear all about it on the ride back home.

At least, I have other rugby wives with me that also feel the same way.

Should I?

Mama needs a new pair of shoes. Oh, let me correct that ... Mama wants a new pair of shoes. I was online the other day and found these gorgeous shoes from Steve Madden and I am struggling with whether I should purchase them or not. I asked my husband and he said do what you want. I am not sure if that is giving me the go ahead or if he is just saying, "you do not need a new pair of shoes". I think they will be perfect with the upcoming warmer weather.

Weight Loss ... Boo to me!

After the wedding, I lost all my motivation to eat well and exercise 5 days a week. I just kinda went on vacation from it. Why have a salad when my husband is having pizza? So, this weekend the hubby and I decided to step on the scale and I was surprised at the number that YELLED at me! I couldn't have gained this much in less than 6 months?! No way! But the scale does not lie. I have a lot of work to do to get back to my pre-wedding weight. Back to choosing salads over icecream. It's sooo hard but I know that eating crap everyday isn't good for me.

Before the wedding, I could eat anything I wanted on the weekends but during the weekdays I was really good with my food choices and I would exercise 5 days a week. Back to that way of life. Lucky for me, Sean also sees that he has gained some weight (not nearly as much as me ;) and wants to lose some weight. Our goal is 1.5 lbs per week until we reach our goal weight. I hope that by the time Sean's sister wedding rolls around I would be able to wear one of my many dresses that hang in my closet and not have to buy a new dress! Now I am off to make a chicken salad for the hubby and I ... yummy, yummy :(

Lazy Weekend ...

I love weekends when you have no plans and you just kinda go with the flow. The hubby decided that he wanted to do some painting. We were going to do the living room and the dining area. Only accent walls but after doing a wall in the dining area we were like ... yeah, it's too nice out, let's get out of here! We painted it a burnt orange color and it looks great! We have to do one more coat but it still looked really good. I can't wait for us to do all the painting and decorating. We don't move in until June so we have a lot of time to get the house looking the way we want it.

We just got back from Mexico a few days ago. It was such a fun time. We went with my best friend and her husband. It is so nice to be on vacay because you just wake up whenever you want and lay on the beach and just relax. I think I was out in the sun for too long b/c I am actually peeling but DH was burnt, lol.
