An award? For me?! :)

OK, I really had no idea about awards. Being new to the blog world, I saw that it was mentioned in the blog world but I really had no idea what it meant. NYC Island Gal was kind enough to explain and to actually give me an award!


It is an award for "A Blog With Substance". Me? Really? My lil ole blog has substance! That really made me smile.

The rule with accepting the award is that I must write about my blog philosophy. OK, to be honest, I do not really have a blog philosophy. I hope I can still keep the award, pretty please? My blog is about my life that I share with my stud muffin of a husband. I started this blog with the intention of just writing & documenting life after getting married and was very surprised when people began to follow me. To be honest, I never thought people I didn't know would be interested in following me. Because of this, I have actually become more dedicated to writing on this blog more and I am truly enjoying it. Such an outlet.

I must also give this award to several lovely blogs that I seriously stalk on a daily basis that I believe are great reads with substance!
