Sunday morning, my sister, Emma, made the most delicious breakfast of eggs, cinnamon raisin toast and bacon. Yes, I know it’s a simple breakfast but she mixed hot sauce with ketchup and it was amazing! So you know who is now doing the same thing. Such a copycat of her big sister; some things never change :).
We didn’t exactly have plans so we went with the flow. My little sister, Maryanna, met up with us in Brooklyn around noon and we went to Shake Shack for lunch. I ordered the shroom burger because I remembered how much I liked it the last time Sean ordered it for himself. It was delicious. A little too cheesy but nothing fingers can’t remove and fix.
After lunch we proceeded to walk around Brooklyn. I know that anytime anyone comes to the city they make it a priority to visit Manhattan. If you’re ever in the city make it one of your stops to visit Brooklyn. There is just something so beautiful about the brownstone apartments in Brooklyn. So you know what Faith does when she can’t get over something. She takes pictures of it. Lots and lots of pictures.
I must say it is nice having someone grab the camera to take pictures of me without being asked to. And even nicer to actually have people model for me and not scowl at the camera. I won’t mention any names. “Cough, cough, Sean, cough, cough.”
When it was time to leave of course I didn’t want to. I began to miss my family right away. But I know that it’s see ya later. Until next time.
