Let's decorate for fall, he said.

I've been talking about our fall décor for a little while now so I might as well go on and share it. Many of our items are things that we've had since we got married in 2009. I was also surprised to find that some of these candles are around from when we purchased our first house in 2010. After the shock of knowing that these candles are still around wore off, it dawned on me that they are seasonal candles and rotated often so they stick around for extended periods of time. Although, after this season, I think a few of them might actually get finished. They will be missed ;).

Moving on, I'm glad Sean encouraged us to decorate for fall this year because our house feels warm and cozy.

I love when our fall tablecloth comes out and that leaf vase makes me all sorts of happy.

It's funny (not haha funny) because when we started pulling out our fall décor, I remember thinking that a lot of the items weren't my style anymore. I told myself that after the season, I was going to pick up some new items as they will be marked down. Well, I take it back. After having our house decorated for fall for several weeks now I realize that I like what we have. I feel happy when I see all the fall touches around our house and that is what it should be about. So no, I do not need all new fall décor; what we have suits us just fine.
