The Weekend Can't Come Fast Enough!

It's been a long week. I'm ready for the weekend.

We have a wedding on Saturday and I'm excited for that. I've been in wedding withdrawal. This wedding is perfect timing too because our 2nd anniversary is on Sunday so we technically are getting a fancy dinner with free drinks. Doesn't get better than that.

We decided not to do any expensive gifts either. Our cap is $10.00. Yup, that's right, 10 whole frickin' dollars! We're rolling in dough here.

Any who, 2nd year is cotton. Have any ideas what I can buy for $10.00 that will keep with the theme of cotton? You all know I am not crafty so I will have to buy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  4. If you are on a budget I think it's great that you both said $10 bucks it is. You have each other and that's priceless! I didn't know 2 years was cotton. Cotton is cheap so that's good.

@Nini: Only amazing people get married in November ;)

@Kathy: Can't believe it has been 2 years already either! Time is flying! :)

@Frugalista: Yea, with Christmas around the corner and just coming back from vacation it just seemed smarter to not spend extra $$$. It is actually a little more fun trying to stick to the budget of $10. I hope we can both do it, haha :)

  6. AWWWW...happy anniversary! i like you and your hubby's style...$10 gift limit - you can do A LOT with that or make something. I'm a horrible gift buyer, so no suggestions from me :( good luck and have fun at the wedding!!!

As far as ideas- what about a bag of cotton-candy and a sweet card? :)

  10. Counting the days with you lady :).

I am so boring at buying gifts, I would buy a scalf with the $10, because I like them and one cannot have enough :).

  21. Just found your blog and really like it. I hope you enjoy your time together! The best thing about spending only 10 bucks on a gift is that more focus has to be put towards time together, making it extra special because it's less about the gift and more about each other.
