Decorating for Christmas is one of my most favorite things to do. I do always tend to have issue with re-arranging things since the tree takes up a good portion of the space in our sitting room. This year, instead of putting the yellow chairs away (that usually go where the tree goes) I placed them in front of our window. Although, I much prefer them in their usual designated area, it is convenient to have additional seating when friends or family are over. Not related to this topic but of course I feel the need to mention, our palm tree had to find a new home away from the window because winter, and well, it thrived so much better by the window. Crossing fingers that it makes it though the winter and can go back to its beloved spot.
This year we chose purple ornaments as a sort of tribute to my mom and every time I see it I can’t help but smile. I’ve been insane with the watching of Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music this year. It truly has helped to put me in a cheerful place this Christmas season. I like to set the table for Christmas and picked a few new pieces from Pier 1. I love those reindeer napkins holder; they bring such a fun, festive vibe to our table. Any who, on to the Christmas décor outside and around our house this year.
I love all the little details you put into your home and decorating. Your home is beautiful, your tree is beautiful- all of it.
