After the Golden Gate Bridge we went back to Ocean Beach and spent nearly three hours just walking the beach, watching the waves crash while the sun set and chatting together. This is one of my most favorite memories of our trip to San Francisco.
There is something about the ocean that just calms my spirits and puts my soul at ease. It's seeing God's beauty in something so simple but also majestic at the same time. It wasn't exactly dip in the water type of weather but Sean took off his sneakers that way he could feel the sand between his toes. It was seriously the most perfect day so I had to pinch myself a few times. Excuse the million and one pictures of our time spent in Ocean Beach but as is typical me, I could not help myself or pick favorites.
We absolutely love how dog friendly San Francisco is.
Such a great smile when we complimented her pit-bull :)
You can't help but smile when the graffiti has one of your favorite sayings :)
We popped into Cliff House for a quick drink and some wings to hold us over until dinner before heading back to our hotel room.
We freshened up really quickly and then went to Wipeout Restaurant for dinner. I'd be honest, I was not thrilled to be getting dinner here but Sean was insistent on it so off we went. I was quite surprised with how delicious and fresh our dishes were!
After the night before and an entire day of just walking about, we were a bit tired so we made it an early night. The best part is that we still went to bed feeling extremely satisfied with our third day in San Francisco.
Magical - I can feel the love, beauty, and majesty through these pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou two even look serene and calm in these photos. I LOVED THEM ALL. I never get to see the ocean. - I thinkI've seen it like 3-4 times my whole life. These photos are gorgeous !!! I also want to cop me a pair of those Adidas shoes.
ReplyDeleteThere is certainly something magical about the beach. It's so good for the soul. : )
ReplyDeleteThis looks so pretty and I love how dog friendly it was! I can't wait for summer beach days. Sierra~Beautifully Candid
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I like walking on the beach but only with my shoes on. LOL. I can't even blame the african in me. The sand feels strange on my feet but when I sit on the beach, I like to bury my feet in sand. Yup...special :-).
ReplyDeleteThose wings look so yummy! Being on keto, I eat A LOT of wings :-D
