.My weekend.

I am interrupting my Vegas recapping (I am aware that I am doing a horrible job) to discuss my weekend.

On Saturday, Sean had a rugby game. It was the most intense game this season! You can tell each team gave their all. In the end, the hubs team won and this was the game to win. This weekend, we head to NYC because they won the one last weekend. (For those of you who don't have any idea about rugby, this game is like the one leading to the Superbowl. If they win the game this weekend they get to play in the Superbowl) It is a huge accomplishment and I am so excited. They move up a division regardless but it would be HUGE if they win this weekend! Crossing my fingers, toes and praying!

Any who, Saturday evening we headed up to my parent's house. They took us out for delicious sushi to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. They are so sweet! They talked to us about marriage and gave us keys to being happily married for years to come. God is #1. I asked them to bring my little sister and nephew along because I want to be with my nephew at all times. After throwing a tantrum (didn't know that 11 month olds could do that) he passed out during dinner.

{picture with the little man before dinner. i look so happy, he doesn't look at all thrilled}

{My beautiful parents. They have the best smiles!}

On Sunday, I went to the mall with my other little sister. We bought a few things and I picked up some Christmas decor. After some delicious Taco Bell, we decided to see Due Date. I wasn't a fan.

I am one of those people who is in love with The Hangover. I can watch it at anytime. I know the lines and I'm not afraid to watch it with you and show you my memorizing skills. It is slightly ridiculous. I've watched it so much that I pointed out 3 different people in Due Date that had tiny, tiny parts in The Hangover that also had tiny, tiny parts in Due Date. It was funny but just not that funny. I expected more and well, I didn't get it. I left thinking that I missed something and that spending $10.75 on a movie is highway robbery.

{Taking pictures at the movie theatre. All smiles before I realized it wasn't going to be all that great}

All in all, it was a really good weekend. Weekends with family are truly the best weekends. I promise to finish recapping Vegas! I don't know what Vegas did but ever since that trip, I haven't wanted to blog. I still like reading all of your blogs but just haven't had the desire to do anything to mine. I hope this is just a very short phase because I have so much to blog about!

Hope you all had great weekends too!

  4. Happy Anniversary. Woohoo! You better get back into the swing of things young lady because I'm waiting for the full Vegas update. LOL. Kidding. Did you go to Vegas and get baby brain by any chance? Hmmm...

    So great that you guys spent some time with your parents (and they do have beautiful smiles). BTW...I love your nephew. He is so freaking cute.

    About the recipe, I'll try to write it down and send it to you. I'm so bad at knowing exactly what proportions of stuff I put in food because I don't measure it usually. But I'll try my best.
