I've made it. eShakti kinda told me so.

I made it! I (initials RFAB) made it. Yes, I know. Everyone and their mama have been asked to review something by eShakti but I hadn’t. And now I have. I don't have thousands of readers but I've been asked to do a review. I’ve made it ;).

As soon as I got the email from eShakti I texted Sean to tell him (yes, you know it, might as well say it with me) I made it! I just tried to save the print screen to share but I still don’t know how to do that. Lame.

Any who, I texted him. I didn’t hear from him for a couple of hours (rude to my life) but then I got a phone call asking me to explain what in the world I texted him. I screamed, BABY, I MADE IT!

I would love to say that he screamed congrats but he didn’t. He was dead silent. Probably wondering why in the world he married such a crazy. So then I explained and he said:

"They will send you something to review of your choosing, and then you get to keep it? Are you sure about that?"

Faith: "Yes, babe, I’m sure."
Sean: "Did you read the fine print?"
Faith: "Well, there was no fine print to read, I think."
(I said, "I think" in my head and not outloud.)
Sean: "Oh ok, babe. That’s actually cool."

Yeah, he doesn’t sound very excited but he was because he came home with a six pack of my favorite Smirnoff drink for us to celebrate. I really think he did it because he wanted to drink something but I’ll take it, ha.

So now here comes the part where I actually talk about eShakti. eShakti is an online retailer. Their website is neat in the sense that you can purchase an item and customize it to your body and style. I didn’t customize mine because it was late at night and I was too lazy to measure myself. But also because I really didn’t want to know how much my waist and arms have grown in the last month. I chose this dress because I decided that I didn’t have anything like it in my closet.

This is Sean’s face when I told him that we have to go outside and he has to take pictures of me in the dress. Attractive, right?

OK, just kidding. Just another picture I took of Sean in Montreal where he makes one of those faces.

And this is the dress on me. Oh ignore the snow. It was actually 50 degrees (sleeveless weather right there) that day.

So, what do you think? I know the pictures are dark. I should have placed the ISO higher but if I can convince Sean to do this again it will be a learning tool. The dress is made of 100% cotton and it feels good on. The dress has a thick quality and is made very well. I think the shape of the dress flatters my figure as well and it has pockets. That right there says it all ;). I kept the jewelry to a minimal since I think the dress makes its own statement but decided I wanted to wear "fun" shoes.

They have so many things that I loved on their site. These are a few of the dresses that I was torn between.

Thanks eShakti for a great experience and a brand new dress. I’m convinced there is nothing better than a free, new dress. I take that back, ice cream is. But I’m convinced that there is almost nothing better than a free, new dress.
