While Seans away ...

IMG_7311
Cooking? What's that? I'm perfectly OK with a sandwich, cereal or a drumstick cone for dinner.

I can cry (like sob cry) watching movies like "12 Years a Slave" without having to endure judgments or laughter.

Poop duty is my duty. I wish he were home just for poop duty. Oh and for you who don't know, I have a cat and a dog. Didn't want anyone thinking I was talking about my poop duty. OK, moving along.

Shows like "Gold Rush" or anything "smart" I don't have to watch.

Oh and while we're on that topic I dominate the television and the remote control.

There's half the mess. And when it's your mess it really isn't mess because you understand it.
So basically our apartment is spotless right now and doesn't smell like rugby.

There's half the laundry. Win, win!
I do miss the random cash that always seems to be inside Sean's jeans though.
I always say it's payment for doing his laundry.

There's also lots of phone calls and texts because to be honest I miss him a lot and would rather have him home placing dishes into the empty sink rather than placing them inside the empty dishwasher. #petpeeve

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. They did not lie. May 17th can't come soon enough.

Hope you're all having a great Tuesday! ♥

  7. You guys are just so cute! With a post like that, I am sure Sean is just as eager as you are to get home.

I hear ya on the remote though. Even having multiple TVs in the house doesn't solve the problem! So whenever its just my little one and I, I STAY on girly channels even if I am not actively watching it just to make myself feel better :-D.

  11. Welcome to my life everyday ;) HAHA add a kid in there.

I don't think anyone would judge you bawling your eyes out watching 12 Years a Slave. Had I been there I would have been bawling with you and gone on a tangent about the injustice and honorifics of it all.

Just blow up his phone like you two are dating again.

  17. You know what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Enjoy your time to do whatever you want and when you see Sean next, enjoy that time too :)

  18. Awwww! It must be hard to have your guy so far away! But it's nice that you can stay on the positive side by enjoying all the things you can't do while he's there! :) I'm the exact same way! When Rod's out of town, I'm watching something like "Steal Magnolias" while eating cereal (for dinner) in my pajamas! Haha!

  19. I know you can't wait for hubby to come home. Let me just tell you, I don't cry while watching movies with people but when I'm alone...it's a wrap! I sob like a baby LOL!

  21. ha ha 'smell like rugby' is killing me! I'm so glad we have a balcony, that's where Jay's squash bag goes to keep the air in our place breathable!
