Friday night, Sean and I went out for Trivia night. We hadn't gone in a while and I was looking forward to it. To be honest, I was just looking forward to the cheese fries and Philly steak cheese sandwich. The food is dirt cheap but so good!
This was a different experience because we actually won for the first time! We won a pitcher of beer (ewww for me, yay for the others) and a $25 gift card to use for the next time we go. I will be using it for more cheese fries.
Saturday was a game day. Sean's team completely killed it. The score was 144-6.
After Sean's rugby banquet, I was designated the rugby photographer. My days of sitting in the car and cheering are over. OK, I'll be honest. I wasn't really cheering. I was listening to Lil Wayne and pretending that I could rap.
Sean is in charge of making sure that all the equipment is at the field before the game begins. Since we got there early Sean asked to take pictures of me holding the rugby ball. At first, I was so surprised that I asked him, "what do you want?" He said, "do you want me to take pictures or not?" I got the pictures.

Y'all are probably wondering why Sean is not playing. He busted his knee at his last game and his orthopedic advised him to stay off of it for 3 weeks. You would think that his doctor told him that he couldn't play for the rest of his life.
Saturday evening, I was invited to a Syracuse game party. Colleen is from Syracuse so she is a the biggest fan. It was also her birthday so we were hoping that meant that Syracuse would win. Unfortunately, they didn't. Good thing I had wine.
Sunday was church, lots of deep cleaning (due to the fact that while I was sick deep cleaning was on the back burner) and Netflix watching.
I hope you all had a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteAre any of those rugby boys single, haha!!?! ;)
Yay for being the game photographer and model...poor Lil Wayne, though, I'm sure he'll miss your duet!

You are the perfect designated photographer. Great photos!!
ReplyDeleteLove trivia night. Derek and I always lose so that's awesome that you won!!
LOL at the conversation you and your DH had about him taking your pictures! Maybe it's a sign...he's coming around. :D
ReplyDeleteI haven't had cheese fries like that in a long time! There's a restaurant that we go to here, and we order them but, they put the sauce in a little cup for dipping. Either way, they're good!
You look great! I especially like the first few photos of your outfit...very nice pops of color with the pumps and the bauble necklace!
Sounds like a great weekend! :) And see! You're training Sean to be a photographer. I knew you could do it. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso - all I was thinking this entire blog post was CHEESE FRIES. Wow. Apparently baby wants some cheese fries. :)
Yes I'd say they smashed the other team! Your pics are looking fantastic... great motion shots! Love the pic of the team in a huddle with their arms around each other, and the pic right above it (dunno what that's called lol) . And loving those Steve Madden boots. Ok, let's face it, you're a pro at this photography stuff now :)

ReplyDeleteT.
Congrats on winning trivia!!! That's awesome!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteCheap and good food usually means less then 100% healthy but it's so good. Wow, they really did kill it. That's a landslide. Sorry Sean couldn't play. Ha, ha, doing your job as photographer! Dontcha love it how we get put to work for the team? But it's pretty fun trying to get good shots and it looks like you got some good ones.
ReplyDeleteWell done on the big quiz win Faith, I adore that jacket on you and think that you absolutely rock it! Always love your look when you wear it although to be fair I always love your look full stop! So cool seeing you posing with the Gilbert ball, the same rugby ball we sell over in the UK in the rugby store I work in. As a rugby fan I know for a fact that 106-6 is an absolutely MAMMOTH score for anybody to win by, there must have been a try on average like every 6 minutes or so which is absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love the bright pops of color in your outfit!
