How is it Thanksgiving this week? This year completely flew by. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that this year is practically over.
But I’m ecstatic that this time of year is upon us. It really is the most incredible time of the year. October – January you make life grand.
Now I’ll spend the next few days thinking of Turkey, family time, stuffing my pie hole and Christmas shopping.
Sean wants us to have a little Christmas dinner with our friends and I’m down for it. Any excuse to use to buy a new outfit. A festive Christmas one at that. Let’s see what happens when he realizes that it actually will take planning on our part.
I wanted to spend the weekend cleaning every nook and cranny that way I could start Christmas decorating the day after Thanksgiving. But I didn't exactly do that. Maybe tonight I'll get some cleaning done that way Friday I can decorate for my favorite holiday.
How excited are y’all for Thanksgiving? Are you dreaming of turkey and stuffing when you sleep too?
Happy American Thanksgiving! Any excuse for a new outfit eh?! I bet you'll do a great job at party planning. I am holding out till dec 1st to put up Christmas decorations though!
ReplyDeleteCan I come to your friend Christmas dinner?!? I'm always looking for a reason to wear something new!
ReplyDeleteI agree...October-January make my life complete.
I totally thought of you as we ate hot wings on Friday night. We have to make a date to visit with each other and share a meal...or 5!Have a great week!
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here which is a damn shame because this sounds like it's going to be an awesome one for you guys. Best of luck with the decorating after Thanksgiving but first to enjoy the time with your wonderful family, it's going to be a blast!
