She's Out Of My League

I pride myself in having somewhat decent taste in movies. I do not like gory movies because I hate to see anyone die a gruesome death. I do not enjoy scary movies because I do not like the way my heart beats and the fact that I have to watch the movie behind my fingers. It's a waste of money, I tell you.

I enjoy thrillers/action packed movies. Those keep me on my toes. I like to be kept on my toes.

I enjoy chick movies because, well, I'm a chick. I am sure that explains it all.

I love comedies because I enjoy a good laugh. I am that annoying person that when I find something funny I can laugh for hours. It could have been a scene that happened two hours ago. It pops in my head and I am dying with laughter all over again.

I really, really like romantic comedies. I am a huge sap & also a crier. I always thought I would make an amazing actress because a sad thought makes me cry. Trust me, I am not proud of this. I've been made fun of, plenty of times.

So on Saturday evening when the hubby and I decided to go to the Redbox to get a movie, I was super excited by what movie I would get to watch, that I missed in the theatre.

Sean & I didn't exactly find any movie that we could both agree on so when we saw "She's Out of My League" we hesitantly put it in our cart. I remember thinking, Hollywood is running out of good ideas. But the worst that could happen was that we would be out $1.00. No big deal.

Imagine my surprise when I couldn't stop laughing. I had that annoying moment I mentioned above. I don't think hubby thought it was that funny, hehe. I thought it was hilarious. I don't know if it was because I had a great day on Saturday or something. Maybe my taste in movies is no longer decent & maybe a bit questionable but I think I will get it when it comes out on DVD.

Don't judge me.

  2. I once wasted a "honey please take me to see a romantic comedy" credit on a bad chick flick. Wonder when the husband will take me to see another one again. Glad this one made at least you laugh :)

  8. Faith, you have to be a pleasure to watch movies with. hahhaaa, no seriously!
I don't go for scary or gruesome either. And I love to laugh, but I don't laugh unless it's really funny to me. I've never been one of those fake laughers who seem to show up and sit right behind me in movie theatres all the time! :D
