"Unfaithful"

I saw this movie before I was married to Sean. Actually before I was even dating Sean. I think at the time I actually thought it was a pretty good movie.

Tonight, it was on Cinemax on Demand so I decided to watch it again, since there was nothing else that caught my attention.

I watched it for the first time as a married woman in love with her husband and the movie made me so sick. Literally. My belly was all tied in knots and I felt nauseated and as though I wanted to vomit at any given moment. It is horrible what lies and an affair can do to your marriage and your family.

I hate this movie. Absolutely hate it.

  1. I hate the unfaithful aspect of it but the fact that this movie had the power to make you hate it so much means it was a very well done movie. Yeah, it's pretty horrible what happened.

  3. I haven't seen it since I was married, but I remember liking it and being disgusted at the same time... even if you hate it you have to admit the film is well done to convey those feelings!

    XOXO

  4. Funny you should post this as this is the only movie (minus a few horror flicks) that I've purposefully turned off in the middle because it made me so sick. I HATED it that much! It did the same thing to me- tied my tummy in knots and just made me feel horrible all over. Bad, bad, bad, bad movie!!!

  5. I've never seen this movie, and I don't want to based on how you feel about it. I don't like anything about cheating either, I can't even watch cheaters getting busted on tv. Really blessed that my husband feels the same way.

And actually, he speaks up around the guys if they talk about two-timing at work.

  6. Movies often make cheating seem glamorous and like it's an acceptable option...at least this one talked about the ramifications. I liked Closer for the same reason.

    Maybe it'll deter some folks.

  8. Ha! Sooooo funny because I agree with you. I seen this on demand and refused to look at it. I can't watch stuff like this anymore. Makes me sick AND makes me want to slap to the characters! lol.

  9. I agree....I've always hated this movie, I just couldn't see how women actually thought it was "hot" no thanks! Infidelity is a definite deal breaker for me, I think its just horrible.

  10. It just makes me want to be the best wife that I can be for my husband so that I and him are both happy in our relationship. It will not be on the Tivo list for sure.

  11. It does that to you, too, huh?!? My husband and I watched this before we were married, loved it, but were creeped out by it - it was so eerie, so... real! The acting was crazy good. we have it on our dvd shelf. But now, I'm like you - can hardly watch it, i feel so sick - almost like i'm guilty of something! It's so dirty!
