I Love Me A Short Week

It was so hard to concentrate at work today.

All I could think about was turkey. And stuffing. And gravy. And cornbread. And mashed potatoes. And Black Friday. And my mom's cooking. And seeing my parents. Gosh, I am so excited to see my parents.

And of course my sisters and my nephews.

I'm excited for the car ride down Wednesday evening. The massive amout of self pictures I will take in the car. The amounts of times Sean would tell me to stop. I'm excited for that.

I'm excited to wake up Thanksgiving morning to go crazy in the kitchen with my mom and then even more excited to go around the table to tell everyone what we are so thankful for.

It is going to be harder to concentrate at work tomorrow because then I will be one day closer. One day closer to Thanksgiving and one day closer to decorating for Christmas.

  1. HAAAA! YOU crack me up! Self pictures in the car & hubby telling you to stop! I love it!
I can't wait for all the food, too. It's going to be yummy. I am going to have to walk all of Saturday in our neighborhood to burn some calories. I can feel it now :)

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

  19. My work week ends tomorrow at 12:30 even though mentally it ended last Friday at 5. This whole week has been painful! I can't wait for all the yummy cooking either. Sadly, this year, boyfriend and I are not spending it together, so no harassing him with photos, but like the old saying goes, there's always next year!

  25. I seriously almost made a turkey today. I mean it appears as though three quarters of America isn't working this weed based on the traffic I encountered at NOON today. Why people? why?
