Miami - Part 3

Hope you all had fabulous weekends! I am looking forward to seeing all of your amazing costumes. As for myself, there was no costume wearing. Hubs and I spent almost 4 hours last Thursday looking for our costumes. Nothing spoke to us so we ended up just going out for dinner and drinks. It actually worked out because we were blessed with a lot of snow and it would have been just too much work to go all out and freeze.

Any who, on to Miami! I have to get these recaps done before the year is over.

We wanted to have one night of dancing so we decided to go to a club called Set.

Here I am all ready to go. All I have to say is that Miami's humidity was not kind to my hair.

Look at hubby all handsome in his shirt. Too bad no one told him that you had to dress professional to go to a club in Miami. Yes, we were turned away at the door. But we really wanted to go dancing so we decided to go back to our room and have him change into a button down white shirt and a sports jacket.

Hubby didn’t understand he kept on saying, “But Pauly D wore t-shirts in Miami.” I said, “Yes, babe, but you are no Pauly D.”

While we walked back to our hotel room we passed something I have never seen. Mannequins with hugemongo boobs. Nice.

Hubs quickly dressed and we were off to dance. We decided to go back to Set and it was nice that the promoter who turned us away at the door let us in without have to wait on the long line.

It must have been house music night because that is all they played. I was fine with it for the first two hours but after that I began to itch to hear other music. As for hubs he was having a blast. His arms and body swinging as though he was having a seizure. That’s the beauty of house music. You don’t need to look right to do it.

After 4 hours of dancing we headed home. While we walked we began to plan our next day. We were going to go the beach, lay out and just be lazy bums. Mother Nature had other plans for us. The witch.

  5. Sounds like a good time! True Story: I was raised in Miami, but LEFT when I was 17 mainly because of what the humidity did to my hair and makeup. #notashamed It is entirely too hot and sweaty in my hometown...
