Christmas Quiz

I stole this quiz from Moske Monkey Business. What better time to get more excited for Christmas!

1. Eggnog or hot chocolate?
Hot chocolate of course!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?
I didn't believe in Santa growing up so he didn't do anything.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
I've only had colored lights but maybe next year we'll do white. But to be honest, I don't really care what the color of the lights are on the tree.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Nope, maybe next year.

5. When do you put your decorations up?
The day after Thanksgiving

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
I love making Oreo Truffles. But I enjoy having lasagna too!

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Dressing up in new dresses with my sisters to go to church. We always looked so cute during Christmas time!

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I always knew.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Yuppers

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
We have had purple, green and accents of red. I love the colors together. They are not suppose to go together but for some reasons they work for us. But maybe next year {hehe, what's with me and next year} we'll do something different.

11. Snow! Love it or dread it?
I only like it when it doesn't stick. Besides that it really is a pain in the behind. But I have to agree that it is SO pretty and there is nothing quite like a White Christmas

12. Can you ice skate?
Yes, until I fall on my behind.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Hmmm, not sure. Maybe the Uggs Sean got me last year. I had been wanting them for a while but refused to spend the money.

14. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you?
Appreciating that God gave his only Son to come down as a human to wipe away all my sins. Remembering that the most perfect gift has already been given to me. After reflecting on that, I love the feeling of being with family and celebrating God's love.

15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Oreo Truffles!

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
I enjoy Christmas Eve with hubby. We make a big dinner for just the two of us, go to church, come back and open presents and watch Christmas movies while drinking hot chocolate topped with marshmallows.

17. What tops your tree?
A silver star that lights up!

18. Which do you prefer: giving or receiving?
Without a doubt, GIVING! Probably everyone would say this but I just enjoy heading out and finding a gift that I know someone would love and appreciate. And the look of happiness when you have nailed the perfect gift, well, there is nothing like it :)

19. Candy canes: yuck or yum?
Not a fan unless it is not flavored peppermint

20. Favorite Christmas movie?
A Christmas Carol

21. Saddest Christmas song?
Happy Christmas - War is Over {John Lennon}

22. What’s your favorite Christmas song?
Honestly, I love them all!

  1. This is actually such an excellent idea, I'm tempted to steal the quiz too and use it for my own blog if that's alright! Number 14 is the truest of everything you've said though, we honestly do need to be appreciative and remember the main reason behind Christmas even existing, God bless you guys and have an excellent Christmas together!

  15. Awesome answers. Oreo truffles sound wonderful right now (been craving chocolate a lot lately). Purple and green with accents of red sounds very rich. Honestly, I've seen a lot of strange color combos just work for Christmas - and it's really neat!

  16. Love this! I still haven't made oreo truffles yet. Sounds gooood. Love your traditions, and don't worry I didn't believe in Santa, though my children does. This year we're taking more of the credit for the gifts. My son refused to believe we had anything to do with the gifts last year...what? lol have a happy merriest christmas!

  17. You know I love this quiz so of course I'll have to steal it!!! I believed in Santa until I was like 4 and then that year my brother told me there was no Santa. Boy did he get a flogging from my mom when she found out what he did....ruining Christmas for me at such a young age!
