Hubs went to the outlets with a few of his co-workers last week. He wanted to get some Christmas shopping done and I’m a bit nosey so he knew he had to get some done without my knowledge.
Side note: Sean does not like my big purses. He refers to them as suitcases. He has been telling me to get a wristlet for the longest time but I don’t know why I haven’t bought one. My girlfriends always carry one when we go shopping or when we go out. But I just haven’t had the urge to purchase one on my own.
Sean called to tell me that he had gotten me a gift.
Faith – Yay, another Christmas gift to be placed under the tree!
{We all know that there is nothing more exciting than tons of wrapped gifts under the Christmas tree!}
Sean - No. This isn’t a Christmas gift; I just want you to have it.
Faith - Um, what? Why? I don’t think anyone should receive any gifts with just a few weeks to Christmas unless of course it is your birthday.
Sean - No, I want you to have it now. Besides, it was dirt cheap.
I get home and there is a red and white shopping bag on our dining table. I open it and inside lays a cute little wristlet. Sometimes your husband just knows that if you aren’t going to do it, they will have to do it.
Here I am rocking my pre-Christmas gift. Oh, how I love that man.
p.s. Notice anything different behind me. Hubby decided he needed to re-arrange the living room. Sigh.
