Scenes from Christmas Eve

After a beautiful church service, we decided that we did not want to go out to eat. So we did the next best thing. Ordered Chinese takeout.

I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein with Spicy Beef Fried Rice. Sean ordered Boneless Spare Ribs with Pork Fried Rice. I couldn't ask Sean to put down his food that way I could take a picture. I know he would have said, "Um, no".

{We had our choice of drinks}

{Sean's choice of entertainment & it was not Christmas movies}

{And Izabella laid on the blanket she has taken a liken to. This is her blanket. Don't forget it}

{Then we opened some presents}

And I was surprised to see a new camera. I know that I have been wanting a new camera. The really, really nice ones. But I decided that I really didn't need a new fancy camera and I didn't want Sean spending tons of $$$$ on it. So I asked him not to get me a new camera.

Well, Sean knows that the camera I had was/is a BIG piece of doodoo. Like major doodoo. So on Black Friday, he picked up the Nikon Coolpix L105 for me. It was a steep $100.00. And is 100% better than my old camera. I am thrilled that he bought me a new camera even though I told him not to, and even more thrilled that he didn't spend a lot of money on it.

Then I took it out and tried to figure it out without reading the manual. Go figure. I've read it now.

{Sean's new surround sound}

{Sean figuring out his new surround sound without reading the manual. We're a match made in heaven}

Then I took some more random pictures and I think I am getting the hang of this camera :)

{Glass of Skinny Girl Sangria, yum!}

{Drake gift for me and Lord of the Rings gift {Return of the King} for Sean. He was so excited we were watching it in no time}

{Typical}

{I love when he pretends he wasn't just sleeping}

But when we get preggo, we are getting that fancy, new camera. Because then I would have someone super important to take pictures of. Besides, what better excuse is there to spend that type of $$$$???

Hope you all had an incredible Christmas!

{Stay tuned for Scenes from Christmas Day}
