This weekend was perfection. I wish all my weekends can consist of this. My family, husband, sunshine and BBQ food.
The weather was amazing. No rain at all which was welcomed due to the amount of rain we’ve been having the last few weeks. Izabella was loving our long walks. I tell you she hates the rain and refuses to potty to avoid it. It is not fun dragging a dog through the rain to poop, but I digress.
On Sunday was my sister’s graduation. It was the best and shortest graduation I have ever been to. I have been known to hate graduations but the guest speaker was Judge Judy and well she is just incredible. Also, my sister's graduation class was so large that instead of calling each graduate by name they called them in groups. And because they did it this way there was no embarrasing moment. You know the moment when a popular person's name is called and there are screams, whistles and cheers and then an unpopular person's name is called and all you hear are crickets. So awkward.
This graduation was really special too because it was our youngest sister graduating. I felt so proud of her and so did my family. I wonder how my parents feel having adults as children now. Must be strange.
After graduation we had a little BBQ for my sister at our house. Nothing big and it was just us. But that is all we needed. Lots of food, great company and the sun. What more do you need?
Here are some pictures:

{He had better things to do; like play with his car}
{If you stare really hard at the picture on the left you can see Judge Judy}
{When the ceremony ended gold confetti fell from the sky}
{Look at Sean being a creeper}
I also wanted to welcome my new nephew. My SIL gave birth to this cutie on 5/16/2012. Welcome Jayden Joel. I am so excited to meet you!
Yay for graduations, babies, beautiful weather and weekends!!
ReplyDeleteOn a sidenote- when it rains, I make my dog wear a doggie raincoat. He absolutely hates like when I do it...and I feel bad and all...but he looks so sad it makes me giggle. Is that wrong;)
