Bloglovin Loving

So it appears that blog land has been disrupted. Everyone is having a fit that Google Reader will be dismantled on July 1st. The joke is on me because I didn’t even use Google Reader. I just used the dashboard to read my blogs. I thought that is how everyone did it. Or is Google Reader the dashboard? Anyhow, I’ve decided like everyone to jump ship to bloglovin.

I really don’t like that it is called bloglovin. It just doesn’t seem legit.
But I guess that is neither here nor there.

So if you want to continue reading my mumbo, jumbo follow my blog with Bloglovin!

See you there. Or here. Or whatever.

  1. I'm so lost! HA HA! Google Reader?

But I'm also new to the blog world still.

    Still a rookie ;)

Luckily bloglovin' I've heard of ;) A tiny bit, at least.

  6. i read my blogs in the dashboard too. i don't use google reader, but i'm guessing blogs in the dashboard will be gone too? luckily it was really easy to import all the blogs i followed and the bloglovin page looks similar to the google dashboard. still quite annoying to me though!

  7. I read in the dash too. For me it's an extra click that I don't want to do to get to google reader. I don't find it necessary to leave the blogger dash. Who knows what the heck is going on. I've had bloglovin' for a while I just mostly stuck to my dash.

  8. This post has made me pretty happy Faith because I read off the blog dashboard but have been pretty worried but it doesn't seem if it's going to be sticking around or not either. Oddly I scheduled a post asking how I could keep up to date with everyone for a few days time, if most people point me in the direction of Bloglovin I'll be joining up on there myself.

  10. I think the dashboard is still going to be live - I've personally not used Reader but I know a ton of people do, so that sucks of Google, I think! Bloglovin must be having a field day!

  15. I assumed dash board and reader are different so I made no effort to add people to BlogLovin- even though I have two people on there already. I guess I might as well add the blogs I like to read to there as well so I don't miss out!

  16. Yeah I used the reader because its the only place where I could scroll down and not have to click more. So I could definitely leave it open and just scroll through everyones post really easy.
Since bloglovin made it so easy to transfer my reading list over, I am still here - following you on bloglovin and now its easier because this little header bar bloglovin has lets click between blogs without closing or opening a new window.

Ah well, I am imagining with google reader going bye bye there is a chance that GFC will be going or the dashboard of blogs you follow as well. I think it will just be your blog dashboard. Guess we will see on July 1.
