Step by Step

I know that I don’t need to give an explanation as to why my blog posts have been sporadic and my comments on your blogs less frequent.

It has been really busy around here. Even though Amazon enlisted people to search for apartments for us, of course, we’ve been doing some searching ourselves. Most of my time spent on the Internet is now looking up jobs, apartments and researching where we'll be living so that is leaving me little time to actually blog like I want to. So bear with me. I’ll return with a vengeance!

Last night, I went with Nicole and Colleen to a NKOTB, Boys II Men and 98 degrees concert. It was so much fun! I felt like I was 15 again with a Walkman in my ears. Boys II Men were amazing; I fell in love with them all over again. And NKOTB, well, you can't help but love them. 98 degrees was OK. They have Nick so at least we got eye candy.

Tonight, we’re flying to PA for the weekend. We’re going to look at apartment complexes/townhomes and hopefully we find something and sign on the dotted line.

On Wednesday, Sean said to me, (very serious and intently) babe, thank you so much for agreeing to do this. I know it is changing your life so thank you. He thanked me before but this time he really thanked me. It kinda caught me off guard and I’m telling you that I feel so differently now. Maybe I’ve been wanting him to do that? Who knows? But yeah, now I’m like bring it on new city. I’m coming for you.

I hope you all have a great weekend! I’m hoping to return with last weekend's recap on Tuesday ... if not, the latest Wednesday! Happy Weekend! xoxo ♥

  1. such a hectic time for you, completely understandable that you don't have much free time. even though amazon is helping you it's smart to take initiative and try to find apt/job etc too.

that's great Sean thanked you, i'm sure you knew he was thankful but it's nice to hear things spoken aloud sometimes.

It is so sweet that he thanked you ... even though we know they're thankful, sometimes it is just nice to hear it.

  3. That was so sweet of him to acknowledge the sacrifice (and it IS A SACRIFICE) you're making for the both of you. But previously seeing how good the two of you are to each other, it does not surprise me for a minute. Good luck hunting this weekend!! xo

  9. Completely understandable that no matter how much help you're getting from Amazon, it's going to take a lot of time and effort to sort out this move properly but I'm glad that you're flying out and sorting everything out in person. Cute how Sean thanked you for changing your life for him, when we're in love, truly in love then we're willing to do whatever it takes for a happier future with that person and it's so cute that you were wiling to do this.

  25. I remember "the boy band" era. 98 degrees, 'NSync, The Back Street Boys! LOL The concert, with Boys II Men, sounds like good 90s nostalgia.
