The Holidays in Upstate NY

I've decided to just put together some pictures to do a somewhat quick recap of my time in upstate New York during the holidays.

♥ ♥ ♥

{I played Fibber (again & again!) I just could not say no. Nadiyah is really good at the game and I was honestly the worst. I guess, I'm not the best liar or I just suck at games. I always ended up with the stupidest grin on my face. I can actually hear her yelling "FIBBER!" right now. She took the game very, very seriously}

Isn't he the cutest? It is so hard to get him to smile so unlike his ham of a sister.

Finally got something out of him!

Nadiyah decided that Izabella is the best dog ever. I have to agree with her.

{A little goofing around before we headed out to have Chinese for dinner}

And of course we had a little photo shoot for the little diva ;)

Then we said our goodbyes the next day. Nadiyah cried but I assured her that she'll see me soon.

Then I was off to spend the night with Colleen! We went out to dinner and then had brunch the following day. (I'll do a separate post on the restaurants on a future post). We had the best time at dinner. We talked and talked and talked that our waitress had to come over several times to find out if we were ready to order. Luckily our waitress was very bubbly and completely understood our non-stop chatter. When we got back to Colleen's place we had wine, watched television and talked. Colleen may or may not have fallen asleep while she fast forwarded the show we were watching ;). I guess all the talking got her real tired!

And then we were off to the mall for Colleen to return a few things. It felt like time flew by so quickly and before I knew it, it was time for me to head to Luke's to meet up with Sean and attend the party. But I was glad that we had that time together. It was very much needed!

Luke and his wife Danielle threw a party because we were in town. It was so great to see everyone! We played Pictionary and Hedbanz, so much fun! It was boys against girls when we played Pictionary and the boys won every one. Very annoying.

Danielle made these amazing bacon wrapped honey chicken bites. I believe I ate about 20 of them they were so good. It didn't stop me from also eating the spaghetti and meatball dinner along with buffalo chicken dip and tiramisu for dessert! The only thing I did not indulge in that I should have were the veggies. Go figure.

All in all, it was such a great trip! I am counting down the days until we get to see our friends and family again! ♥
