Roaring 20s

On Saturday, Sean and I attended Colleen's "Goodbye Roaring 20s" birthday party which was an absolute blast! I searched for flapper type dresses but did not have any luck and flapper costumes cost more than I wanted to spend. I decided to go on Forever 21 and search for drop waist dresses and found this dress. It arrived three days before the party and I was relieved when it fit. I tried searching for it on their site but it's no where to be found. This one is pretty similar in shape but does not come in black.

I've had the pearls since college (can't recall where they were purchased) which was perfect since I think that is what completed the look. The headband I got at Claire's with Colleen Saturday afternoon and we were surprised with their huge selection. I don't recall if I've ever gone to Claire's but we were walking past it and stopped to go in since our visit to Forever 21's accessory section left us empty-handed and disappointed.

Anyway, we got what we were looking for and was back at Colleen's house with hours to spare to start prepping for Colleen's party. I was the designated photographer so I got tons and tons of pictures which of course I'll share this week.

I hope you're all having a fabulous weekend!
Happy Sunday! ♥

Hand behind my neck? Hopefully it is not a new pose that I've adopted.
Sean says anything is better than my hands on my hip.
I'm not sure I agree.

P.S. Heels are from Zaras.
