Zach's 5th Birthday ♥

My nephew turned 5 not too long ago. As I get older I realize just how quickly time is flying. I remember when I started this blog he was a tiny little baby and I often blogged about him since he lived nearby and I babysat any chance I got. He isn’t so close in distance any longer and I wish it weren’t so. He is the best little boy. He is so funny, sweet, considerate and a bundle of energy. Not to mention that big smile of his (when I'm not forcing it!), melts me every time. He was the first one to make me an auntie by blood and that always will give him a special spot in my heart. It was the first time I realized just how deep a love for one of your sibling’s child could run.

We as a family celebrated his birthday with pizza, chicken wings, cupcakes and snacks and when it was time to leave I wished I didn’t have to.

When I interrupt my nephew's playing and I ask him to smile for the camera. So funny to me.

  1. LOL, Dominic gives me the forced half smiles too when I make him "smile" I found that by saying "poop" or "boogers" will initiate a huge giggle fit, and you'll get a normal smile ;).

Zach is adorable- Happy birthday little man! Love all the pictures, especially the one with all the sisters <3.

  17. Zach is really an adorable kid. Anyway, I also loved your party planning thoughts and ideas. It will be a pleasure for me to plan a party at SF event venues and implement your ideas. Those cupcakes are really looking delicious.
