We've been living in our new house since the 2nd of this month, even though we closed at the end of November. Due to the busy holiday season, Sean only had one day off per week from Thanksgiving to Christmas Day so he didn't want to use his one day off per week to move which was understandable. So we decided we'll move in after the New Year. The day I took these pictures I was rushing because a few days later the painters would be here and I wouldn't have any of the "before the painters got here" pictures. We also bought the stools that way we would have somewhere to sit when we visited the house since all of our furniture was still at the apartment.
Please ignore the random stuff on our counters and the fireplace. Sean grabbed the easiest things from our apartment to put in the house to make it a little more "homey". Sometimes the things he does makes me laugh so hard because the stuff he grabbed was our photo wedding album, one of our table numbers for the wedding, our wedding guest book and an album my little sister gave to us the day of our bridal shower. He also picked a picture frame that has the two of us entering our reception rocking out. I guess he loves our wedding? Ha.
I only took pictures of the rooms that we painted. The painters painted the kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom. We painted the hallway. I want to paint the second bathroom but for right now we're leaving it the way it is. Maybe one very quiet weekend I'll just get on it.

Such a beautiful home, I Iove the vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and the skylights-just freaking amazing! Those floors are so freshly waxed too, feel like you can use them as a mirror! lol
