My nephew turned 5 not too long ago. As I get older I realize just how quickly time is flying. I remember when I started this blog he was a tiny little baby and I often blogged about him since he lived nearby and I babysat any chance I got. He isn’t so close in distance any longer and I wish it weren’t so. He is the best little boy. He is so funny, sweet, considerate and a bundle of energy. Not to mention that big smile of his (when I'm not forcing it!), melts me every time. He was the first one to make me an auntie by blood and that always will give him a special spot in my heart. It was the first time I realized just how deep a love for one of your sibling’s child could run.
We as a family celebrated his birthday with pizza, chicken wings, cupcakes and snacks and when it was time to leave I wished I didn’t have to.

LOL, Dominic gives me the forced half smiles too when I make him "smile" I found that by saying "poop" or "boogers" will initiate a huge giggle fit, and you'll get a normal smile ;).
