Let me first start off by apologizing for the massive number of photographs that you are going to see in this post. I just had too much fun decorating for Christmas this year. Maybe because I hadn't done it in two years and was trying to make up for it. Whatever the reason, I just love how festive, cozy and warm our home feels right now. I wish I could always have it this way!
Decorating two trees was more fun than I thought it would be. In the spirit of honesty, Walker completely ate a large number of ornaments but I hope it's a thing of the past now. I think he now knows what, "that's bad and no treats!" mean. He went crazy for the tree downstairs but not the one upstairs. Maybe the brighter colors were more noticeable than the more neutral color tree upstairs. Who really knows? All I know is that the tree downstairs is a little naked right now but the lights completely make up for it.
I love turning off all the lights in the house and just having the Christmas lights from the tree and garlands on. We also put lights outside our house for the first time and Sean actually asked me today if we could keep it up year round. Hmmm, we'll see. Alright, enough of the talking here's an abundant amount of pictures of Christmas around our house. Also, to try to make this post somewhat organized I've section them out by room, etc, but really forgive me because sometimes when I start taking pictures I can't stop and then I can never narrow it down. I'll try to be better in 2016!
- Christmas tree #1 in sitting room.
- Sitting room.
- Mantel.
- Dining room.
- Christmas tree #2 in family room.
- Family room.
- Even Sean's mini "bar" area got a little festive.
- Miscellaneous.
- Outside.
Thank you all for the love and support you've always shown to me. It is greatly appreciated. You have no idea how some of the comments left in the last year were things that I really needed to read/hear and I will never take that for granted. So again, thank you!
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year!
