i ♥ the weekend

This week, the hubs knew that we had to do something fun & relaxing with one of my great friends to get me out of my blues. It helped and I am back! I promise to spare you all and not vent on this blog for another month or so. Hehe.

(Thanks to all of you who commented on my last post. You guys are amazing & helped more than you know. I appreciate it so much).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To get me out of my funk we went to Saratoga Springs for the weekend. It was so much fun and we had a blast. We went to this amazing Mexican restaurant called Cantina and it is now my new favorite Mexican spot. Amazing, amazing food! It was so good I had to try every one's meal at the table.

Taking pictures of myself, Myspace-style, after I got pretty-fied.

This could have been a great picture but my camera stinks.

my amazing friend who can always, always make me laugh & her soon to be fiance (hint, hint)

i truly & deeply love this man.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(now for the best part & the new reason why i won't get to my wedding weight for a while)

this was my amazing burrito which i am proud to say that i ate every.single.bite. wellllllll, minus a couple of bites i unwillingly shared with my husband. what can i say? this gal loves her Mexican food.

While we were eating we saw a Hulk Hogan imposter & I stopped stuffing my piehole for a second made sure to take a picture of a dork, who dresses like this when it isn't Halloween.

I am so happy to have a friend who makes me smile like this after a rough week. Faith & Colleen forever.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And what do you know? Sean just burst into the office and is cutting into my blog time to tell me that our trip to the pool might not happen today because his best friend's wife just gave birth to their new daughter. OMG!

You know? The duck themed baby shower I went to not too long ago. I told Sean to ask his friend if they mind any company and if they don't, well, time to go pick up a girly bouquet of flowers & see a newborn! Besides, I didn't really want to get into a bikini after all the food I ate last night. So excited!

Hope you lovelies are having fabulous weekends! :)
