What is Marriage to you?
Hi, I found your blog through Mackey Madness :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not married, so can't contribute, but hopefully one day not too far off I will be married. I love your list though, it sounds like you're making your marriage both fun & happy!
Can't wait to read more of your blog!
"Being So Mad At Him But When He Gets Up To Leave The Room To Allow You To Calm Down, You Make Him Sit Right Back Down Because You Would Rather He Be There Than Not"
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are recently married (two months on the 25th!) and in our 2 years of dating/being married I've found that this is the most true. As a woman, when I get angry or upset I want Josh to BE THERE and argue it out with me. I know that arguing with the person you love isn't the most enjoyable thing in the world, but in my mind, arguing it out is at least SOME form of communication and it allows me to see both of our points of view rather than just my own.
I'm not married so I have no input but this has gotten me all dreamy even at 3pm in the afternoon, lol. I think by now I should know that marriage isn't always a bed of rose's, still it would be nice to discover what its like by ones self and not constantly having to read up about it or hear about it from other people. Patiently....impatiently waiting :)
ReplyDeleteI loved every single one of these and literally most apply to us....lol. Marriage is simply divine...knowing that you have found that one person, to share your life with!
ReplyDelete....knowing that you can live without him, but you choose not to.
ReplyDeleteAnswer: Unconditional love.
ReplyDeleteAnd you explained it perfectly.
I <3 you! Great post. Also, something that our pastor told us that will always stick with me: Marriage is not both of you giving 50% to equal a whole relationship. It will most certainly fail. It's both of you giving 100%.
ReplyDeleteLove is being able to make him smile or laugh even when he is pissed off!
ReplyDeleteLove is knowing what each other is thinking by just looking at each other
Awww Faith... this was so sweet. A great reminder. :)
ReplyDelete"Hot Sex Whenever You Want It BUT Not Whenever He Wants It ;)"
ReplyDeleteLol...love ya Faith, this had me cracking up!
Yup! All this and more :). Great post.
ReplyDeleteLove this, Faith!! I agree with them alllllllll. I totally use my cell phone at night to not wake my hubby up. Such give and take. Haha.
ReplyDeleteOh that is all so true! To me... Marriage is sharing my chocolate.
ReplyDeleteLove this Faith! My favorite line "Hot Sex Whenever You Want It BUT Not Whenever He Wants It" LOL!!!!!! Love that! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a heart warming post Faith ..
ReplyDeleteTo me , Marriage begins when the wedding ends ..
To me , its this quote ,
" Marriage is finding that one special person you wanna annoy for the rest of your life ;) :D "
This is a beautiful and I'm sure truthful post...thanks for letting me see everything I have to look forward to ;)
ReplyDeleteMarriage is the best friendship, relationship, adventure I've ever known. I'm so blessed.
ReplyDelete*Friendship That No One Could Ever Understand But The Two Of You
ReplyDeletethis.
I love this list
ReplyDeleteMarriage in itself means alot of things to me.
ReplyDeleteBut In summary Marriage means:
a)Fulfilling one of many God's visions.
b) Willingness to share my freedom with someone that I know is worth all the energy, time and devotion.
c)Going on an adventure that can be so elevating, fulfilling, demanding, challenging, loving, memorable, sweet, annoying, awesome and most importantly accountable.
First time here btw.... loves the blog...
