Thanksgiving, I like you. I really, really like you.

It is so hard coming back to work after a 4 day weekend. Who can I talk to, to get a repeat of this weekend? I’ll pay you for their name. There aren’t many things better than being surrounded by family, stuffing your pie hole, laughing till your belly hurts and feeling that life is just so damn good.

My Thanksgiving was absolutely amazing. Minus the fact that my dog ate our leftovers while we drove home and I may have given Sean an earful, because I still don’t understand why anyone would leave food in the backseat with a dog. But then I put things in perspective. Izabella did me a favor. She didn’t want my thighs to hate me.

I took a ridiculous amount of pictures so right now I’ll let the pictures do all the talking. It isn’t because my brain isn’t ready to think after a 4 day break. OK, I think I'll do a little bit of talking, ha.

Wednesday night, Sean and I traveled down to my parent's house. I was so excited that night that my sisters and I did not sleep until 4 in the morning. We were hurting Thanksgiving morning. But it was worth it playing Millionaire Monopoly and laughing till we had to go to bed.

Thanksgiving morning, I needed a little help to wake up. So we headed to Mikey D's for breakfast and coffee.

He looks exhausted, right? He also thought that he would be able to wear the shirt that he was going to wear for dinner the whole day. He quickly changed that when he decided to help peel potatoes.

My sister made stuffed tomatoes. It was so delicious. I want some now but my dog ate it.

Before tomatoes were placed in the oven.

Here's tons of pictures of our Thanksgiving dinner. Once I started taking pictures of the food, I just could not stop. Someone request an intervention.

A little break from food, shall we?

Outfit on the left worn while cooking. Outfit on the right worn during dinner.

Sister said the sweetest toast.

Smores bar was a huge hit!

I adore my husband.

I know by now you're saying enough with the pictures Faith. Just remember that I'm doing this for 95 year old Faith.

And then I said my "see ya laters". I may or may not have shed a few tears.

It was an incredible time spent with my family. I love them more and more each day.

I hope that you all had wonderful Thanksgivings! xoxo.

  5. What an awesome Thanksgiving! You took too many pics of food and I took not nearly enough. I'll have to remember to do better next year. The dog eating your left overs is a bummer-I'd have been so mad if my take home mac and cheese was gone.
