Big Storm = Netflix All Weekend Long

{This is all I want. Not the guy. The beach}

Something about a major storm coming our way. I mean, HUGE.

I don’t know what Mother Nature is doing. It’s not like she hasn’t tortured us enough. You have Mother Nature. You have.
You are indeed bada$$. Now stop.

I will say that at least you did think of me and how much I would rather the storm today than next Friday, since I leave for Montreal in exactly one week!

The storm means that I will be spending yet another weekend indoors. Seriously, this weather is not so great for my social life. In the winter I feel like I have no friends but my couch, furbabies and Netflix. I would say Sean but he works on the weekend. My poor camera is not getting any usage because how many times can one take a picture of their remote control?

But yeah, how’s the weather where you are? You cannot respond with 60-75 degrees because I will delete your comment. You can respond with either 90 degrees (since that makes me sick) or 30 degrees and below.

I hope you all have fabulous weekends, doing something besides cozying up to your television. At least Tim Riggins will keep me company. If you don’t know who that is you’re not watching enough Friday Night Lights.

We are snowed in today too - and it's forecasted to keep snowing. SUCKS

Hope you stay warm and enjoy the couch!

  2. Oh Tim Riggins. :) LOVE that. :) Have a fun lazy weekend friend! I'll be thinking of you with the storm. We're supposed to get it Sunday and into Monday, which stresses me out because we leave for Sedona on Monday. PLEASE don't delay my flight. :(

  4. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't SO glad the snow is skipping us! I'm in Maryland and it's rainy but 45 degrees so I can't complain a whole lot!

  5. Hahaha at pictures of your remote control.

I fall under the range u don't want to hear about this weekend. Sadly, no beach time for me though, it will be moi, my couch (bed really) and books...waaaaaahhhh.

    Enjoy your cozy weekend.

  6. We are just going to get a smidge of snow from this massive storm, but it's supposed to be super cold. I plan on staying in with netflix and a pot of chili!

  7. It will be 90 degrees on Saturday. And, 29 on Sunday. Chicago weather...I tell ya!

I can think of nothing better/safer than cozying up on the couch this weekend, in front of the television. Thank goodness the air conditioner, and the heater are both nearby. ;)

  8. I've heard about that awful storm coming your way - I can't imagine! Stay safe up there! And I better not tell you what our weather is like here - it would make you cry probably.

    Stay warm and cozy Faith!

  9. 25 deg and droppin'! It just stopped raining long enough for the clouds to squeeze their butt cheeks together and drop snow. (<--like that?!) ANYwho... I'll be Netflixin' this weekend as well! :)

  10. Tim Riggins... Yum! There are worse ways to spend a weekend :) I would say I wish we were getting snow here but then you might hate me :(

  16. This still sounds like a pretty decent weekend for you Faith, hopefully the storms go away soon though, I know it's annoying how sometimes weather can put your social life off the rains for a while.

  17. LOL!!!! You crack me up!!!!
    (Re: deleted comment)

Luckily for me, it's in the 30s here. Yuck.
Supposed to reach 41 on Sunday but along with that comes freezing rain. No fun to go out in rainboots and play.

I will be watching movies all weekend as well... So it's almost like we're hanging out together ;)

  24. Oh man, the beach sounds so awesome! The weather isn't unbearably cold here, but it is cloudy and wet and it will stay that way for many months (like, into June. BLAH!).

I'm slightly jealous of your snowy weather, we haven't had ANY this year!

    Have a good weekend relaxing!

  25. Ugh. All that snow, stinks! It's only fun when you get a day off school, or in adult world work- but that NEVER happens.

Good luck and snuggle up with your baby this weekend--your four legged very hairy baby. :-)

  29. I'll say it...it's been in the 50's here, which has been nice! Still gets too cold in the evenings though. I am slightly jealous of your cold weather, snow and winter time is my favorite! I am with you on the 90+ weather, I HATE it. That's one reason we got out of Texas!
