This weekend was pretty relaxing but fun at the same time.
Friday evening, Sean and I went out with friends for dinner and drinks. This is what I wore. I attempted pining my hair in and well, it was a fail. Didn't like how that turned out at all. I just wasn't feeling myself that day, ha.
The night ended pretty early so we went to get some movies through Redbox. We rented Silver Linings. Go out and rent this movie. SO, SO GOOD! I loved it so much and I’m pretty sure I’m adding it to my DVD collection. It was just a different love story and even Sean kept saying what a good movie it was.
My sister came into town Saturday afternoon and I kept Silver Linings that way she could see it too. Yes, I watched it a second time. It is the way I get when I really like a movie. We also saw DJANGO. This was another wow movie. A bit gory but I liked it. I think Jamie Fox did a great job! We also saw Guilt Trip (it was OK) and Breaking Dawn Part 2 (loved it!). So yeah, lots of movie watching this weekend.
We watched the movies while snacking on pizza, drumstick ice cream cones, massive marshmallows and wine coolers. I definitely need to detox but it was much needed sister down time!
I surprised myself and hardly took out my camera this weekend. I think that I need that some weekends. To just be.
My sister had a graduation to attend on Sunday and her dress was adorable so I made her go outside to take a few pictures of her. I think she is just so fabulous and can do no wrong.
I felt pretty productive too because my house is clean from top to bottom. I love nothing more than a clean house to begin the week. I also cooked a delicious ground turkey pasta meal for our Sunday dinner.
I did not want to go to bed Sunday evening because I just wanted to stay up and chat with Maryanna. But finally I got to bed. Since I got to bed late I was so tempted not to go to the gym this morning. So even though I got to the gym a little later than usual, I dragged myself and worked off the deliciousness I ate all weekend. My sister left this morning and we hugged and hugged and hugged. I’ll see her soon. She says she’ll be back in June. It can't get here quick enough.
I also got a new car. So more motivation for me to get that license. I'm taking the road test sometime in June so I have some practicing to do. Emma, with Sean in the car of course ;).
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too!
xoxo ♥
