Thursday Morning Random Ramblings

IMG_6770
Its been a while since I’ve shared random ramblings on this blog. Which is odd since I’m extremely random.

OK let’s begin. Fall is my favorite season but do you know that I’m actually getting annoyed with all the blog posts about fall? I mean, yes, we’re all excited for cooler weather but the next time I see a person with a scarf or a sweater on in 90 degree weather I’m going to scream. Hold your horses. Your time will come for you to wear your riding boots, mmmkay.

We’re going to another fair this Friday! It was Sean’s idea. Where? In Sean’s hometown. Boondock fair here we come! Maybe I’ll get my hands on my precious AKA funnel cake. And cotton candy. No maybe when it comes to cotton candy, I’m getting a HUGE bag and eating it in one sitting. I might share a few pieces with Sean but only if he ask.

My little sister is coming into town. Not to see me but that’s OK. She’ll stop by and I’ll pretend that I’m not mad at her. Doesn’t she know I’m lonely and that talking to fur babies during the week is not cutting it?! Too bad guilt trips don’t work on her because I would have tried.

In two weeks I’ll be in PA! Yeah, I didn’t think I would be so excited. I think it was a good thing Sean went a month before me because if not there would have been lots of crying and wigging out. The crying and wigging out is all done.

Our new apartment is small. Like the washer and dryer is tiny. I’m not going to be able to do laundry only once per week. I’m going to become like those people who have lots of laundry piled up all over the place. Not digging that. I’ll probably have to do laundry every single day.

Sean is taking the cat a week before Izy and I move in. The reason is to help Fella get adjusted to his new surroundings. We had to do this for my sanity and because we didn’t want Izabella to think that she had a good excuse to swallow Fella whole. I mean you should see this cat when he is placed somewhere new. The crying and screaming goes on for days. And you want to see an animal drop pounds with the quickness then meet my cat. He won’t eat. He’ll be like that, screaming and pacing up and down for at least 5 days. When he finally realizes he is stuck where he is, he stops and begins to eat again. It sounds like a funny scene but trust me it is not. Poor Fella. To think we’ll do that to you again in a year or so.

My resume is out. May the odds be ever in my favor. I mean, God, it’s me Faith. Do your thing to help me do my thing.

Hope you all have fabulous weekends! Yes, I know it’s only Thursday but it’s not likely that I’ll be blogging tomorrow so happy weekend y’all.

  3. Oh my I couldn't agree more....it's almost 100 degrees here today. Lets concentrate on shorts and staying cool! Fall will come in due time!

  4. Aw, I hope poor Fella is able to adjust OK. New surroundings can be so scary for a cat, and I'm worried about the same thing happening when we eventually move. I'm definitely hoping the odds are in your favor with the job search!

  8. Fall is my favorite time of the year too! Everything just looks so crisp and beautiful.
I grew up in New England and absolutely LOVED the fall there because you could actually see the seasonal changes.
I love funnel cake and it loves me right back cause it sticks with me for weeks after. You can see the evidence in my behind :-).
Have a fabulous time at the fair!

  12. Thankfully I haven't seen any bloggers posting on their fall fashion - yet. We don't really have Fall, and when people get all excited about it I'm all like, "Hey, we don't have seasons!" Ugh.
Poor Fella!! My old cat was the same way. She did NOT handle new environments well. I hope Fella has an easy time adjusting.

  13. I hope that things are good for your cat when he moves, I guess like human beings they can sometimes find it difficult to adapt with change, I can relate to that myself even. Have a great time at the fair, once again I am very jealous!

Smart thinking for Fella. I am SO excited for your NEW beginning!!! I cannot wait to see all the new places you will go, new friends you will meet & new restaurants!

  17. I was super looking forward to fall since it was insanely cool here in KC a couple weeks ago (I was wearing pants for crying out loud in AUGUST). But of course, it came back with a vengenace like I knew it would. Tomorrow it'll be a 100 for the high. YUCK! So while I am super excited that next month is September, I refuse to break out the boots and scarves until it's cooler out and actually fall season. I saw that the PSL is out already but I refuse to get it until next week. ;)

Good luck on the job hunt! You got this!

  20. I'm SO not ready for the fall...I'll take a warm day at the pool any day. sorry about your washer and dryer :(

  21. I haven't seen anyone in riding boots here or sweaters outside of my frigid office building but than again it's been 99 degrees here everyday for the last week.

I love all the fall time stuff, but as much as it snowed this past winter, it can take it's sweet time (especially now that I'll have to drive in it to work).

Glad you get to see your sister, and I think you will be just fine in finding a job <3

  23. It's good that you'll get to see your sister, I miss mines so badly whenever I'm at Uni! I hope you find a fantastic job!

  24. Fall is definitely my favorite season but you will NOT see me in a pea coat or boots down here in Louisiana right now. (Although said clothing is definitely appropriate with my workplace temperatures. I swear it's zero below there.)

And I'm sure you'll find something right when you need it. That's just the way God works. In the meantime, enjoy your downtime and explore PA. Good luck!

  25. With how humid and hot as it has been in Cincinnati, I'm desperately trying to be patient about autumn approaching! :)

I have so much to catch up on!! You and Sean are moving to PA?! Eeeeeep! Exciting stuff!!!

I'll be saying a little prayer for you that your resume finds its way to the perfect employer's desk :)

    P.S. I am back to blogging! :)

  27. Oooohhh yessss, I am the same way about bloggers and their rush into fall clothes. Please, it's still 90+ outside! I mean I love fall as much as the next person but no. Poor Fella, I guess he just has new place anxiety! Ps. Why have I never seen pictures of him? I need to see them ASAP! You know I am a crazy cat lady.
