loving that it's my partner in crime's birthday tomorrow. Cinthia, happy birthday! ♥

craving apple cider donuts.

needing to unpack my suitcase from Vegas. I am so organized when it comes to everything but unpacking my suitcase. I’m not sure why I have to have it sit in the middle of our room for weeks until the urge to unpack finally hits me.

thankful for Sean! We had the best weekend, last weekend, celebrating our 8th anniversary. I really married such an amazing person and I am incredibly grateful for his love, support and kindness.

wanting it to be 10:45am already. I have a half day today!

loving The Office. I know, I know. I’m so late but y'all, I did not know what I was missing out on. My little sister, Maryanna, recommended that I watch it months ago and I just didn’t think it would be something I would be interested in. Well, one day out of the blue, I just decided to watch the pilot and I am obsessed. It is hilarious, so ridiculous and I just love it. I haven’t laughed so much watching a show in a while and it feels kinda good.

missing my mom every single day.

wearing a royal blue cardigan, black dress and black booties.

thinking about whether I should have Chinese for lunch or not, especially since I have a healthy lunch waiting for me at home. Resist, Faith, resist. You get a cheat meal tomorrow.

looking forward to putting our Christmas tree up this weekend! Sean has always been a firm believer of not putting up any Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving but this year he didn't get much of a choice (thanks Amazon!). His work schedule this year will not allow us to put up our Christmas décor after Thanksgiving, so since we both enjoy getting our Christmas decorations out and up together, he had no choice but to change his tune. I'm not mad about it one bit since I feel that we'll get to enjoy the happiest time of the year even longer. Of course, he has reminded me that it is just this one time. Ok, babe, sure babe.

feeling pretty OK with how 2017 has gone so far. Although, I still feel that I didn’t get nearly as much accomplished as I wanted, I still feel that 2017 went better than I expected. It was actually the first year in a long while that overall I felt lighthearted and good which is odd since this year was pretty rough with our political climate, heartbreaking devastation due to hurricanes and fires, mass shootings, etc. And yes, there were many days that were personally harder than others but I have no choice but to push through the sadness and get to the other side. I think I just truly did not have much expectations for this year since the last three have been so difficult that maybe I just was preparing myself for worst that way I wouldn't be surprised or feel like my entire life had just been stripped from me. Not really sure. I do know that I sure prayed a lot. Anyway, with less than two months of the year left, I’m making it even more of a priority to live with intentions. The type of intentions that will get me closer to personal goals and achievements.

I hope you all have wonderful weekends! ♥

miss my mother in the weirdest ways but I miss her but I'm so grateful for what she was to me.
And you are pretty. Isn't it great when our feelings line up with our realities?!

    Hugs to you and Sean.

  2. Happy belated Cynthia!

I LOVE apple cider donuts- I never did get around to getting to an orchard this fall.

I've been watching The Office too! I've seen them all already, but I love the show so much!

As a whole this year in general was scary. But I agree that personally 2017 has been alright.
