ReplyDeleteWe didn't smash cake in each other's faces. I think my husband wanted to, but I wasn't for it. I spent so much $$ on makeup, so I wanted to look pretty all day and not have to wipe half the makeup off because cake was smashed in my face!
The cake was pretty. We played nice when we cut our cake as well. I really do not see the point of smashing cake in each other faces.

I was adamantly against cake smashing. Fine for others, I thought, but not for me!! Yeah well, it didn't really work that way. I knew as soon as we cut the first piece that it was going in my face. I decided to roll with it- and honestly, it was a blast and created some of the best photos of the evening. All I gotta say, it thank goodness for air-brush makeup (none of it wiped off!!)
