I wish I could/can remember the blogger I stole this recipe from. I want to give credit because it was soooo good. If this is your recipe please let me know that way I can give you credit. You certainly deserve it!
Ingredients:
4 Chicken Breasts
Half a Block of Cream Cheese - {I used a little more, I like my sauce creamy}
1/4 Cup of Water
1/4 Cup of Pesto
2 Cups of Tomatoes
1 Cup of Five Cheese Blend {I used 1 1/2 Cups of Four Cheese Blend as I couldn't find the Five}
***The recipe did not call to season the chicken but of course I did. I'm a rebel like that***
I seasoned the chicken with Goya Adobo, Mrs Dash's Garlic & Herb, dried Basil and dried Herbs Provence.
Directions:
Spray cooking spray in skillet. Heat stove at medium heat. Add chicken & cover.
Cook both sides for 7 minutes. The first side you cook should look somewhat like the picture below.
Add tomatoes to skillet once both sides of the chicken cooked.
Add cream cheese & pesto. I used Classico Traditional Basil Pesto.
Add Cheese.
Sauce should look like this in skillet when it is ready.
It was so delish & super easy. It tasted professional. Like I went to a fancy, expensive restaurant and ordered this off the menu of a famous chef. I loved it and hubby licked his plate. I'm serious, that good! Try it and if you don't love it something is wrong with your taste buds! :)
It's getting warm out and I'm in serious need of losing weight. This does not help my cause FAITH!! Arrrgh, I spontaneously started salivating when I read this post.
