Jersey Shore/Atlantic City - Day 2

The following morning we woke up, got ready for the day and got something to eat. I saw that they had grilled cheese on the menu and ordered one. I hadn't had one in a while and it was so good. I totally made myself a provolone grilled cheese sandwich when I got home on Saturday. After we ate, we headed to the pool.

The picture below is of a gorgeous restaurant that we did not eat at. Maybe next time. It was just too pretty not to share.

Then I was given the best news ever. I couldn't use my camera at the pool. (Insert eye rolls and lots of, "seriously, babe. That's annoying!") Sean just smiled because he didn't have to deal with a camera being his wife's face at the pool. I just made up for it later. You'll see ;).

After a grand time of pool and hot tub relaxation we headed to the beach.

And of course we had to stop at Rita's. Sean got an ice cream cone and I got a coconut cream Italian ice. It's just so smooth and when you have the last spoonful you wish you had more.

No matter how many times we have visited it always feels new. And I have to admit, this was my most favorite visit.

We grabbed dinner (I actually failed to take pictures of our food, wow) and then we headed to our hotel room to get ready for the night.

We felt like we were in our 20s yet again. But I'm not going to mention when we got to bed.

I asked Sean to pose like a normal human being. Of course he couldn't be bothered. He is obviously above normal.

So I put it upon myself to be the normal human being. If my camera could talk I'm certain she would thank me ;). She'll probably just like Sean more.

I am such a fan of provolone!! I love it with ham on a big toasted hoagie. YUM.

  11. Sean and his lack of cooperation with you and the camera is hilarious! definitely something my husband would do, if not think it was a photoshoot and go overboard. Husbands can be such HAMs. LOL. We have never been to the Jersey Shore before but I almost intrigued to do a quick getaway there just because of your recap.
