The Jersey Shore via my iPhone

Well, hello friends. I've missed y'all. I can't say that I've returned truly inspired but I am rested and relaxed. It's amazing how getting out of town for just a few days and waking up when you want can do for the body. Just what Dr. Faith ordered.

Sean and I visited the Jersey Shore for a mini vacation and returned this morning. We stayed at Harrahs in Atlantic City. We had such a great time just relaxing and enjoying each other.

We arrived on Wednesday and I attempted the whole taking pictures in front of the mirror. I can't even tell you how many times I tried before I got those two below. It's hard work, I tell ya. I didn't even attempt later that night and had Sean take them. Quick and painless. At least for me.

I'll do a recap with my iPhone pictures first since I have so many pictures to upload and since I'm just getting back, I figured no need to overwhelm myself. Besides, if I do it this way I don't have to write too much on my next few posts. Win, win.

{Second outfit: Top: Asos - Skirt & Earrings: Express - Heels: Zaras}

That evening we went dancing and it was a blast. It was at The Pool at Harrahs which basically turns to a club in the evening. I didn't take my DSLR out because even I didn't want to carry that thing around.

We ended the night with some delicious pizza before going to bed.

Thursday morning we headed to The Pool and I was sad to be informed that I couldn't take pictures with my DSLR but my phone camera would do. This pool is beautiful so trust me I was bummed that I couldn't truly capture it.

Look at me practicing. They say practice makes perfect ;)

We went to the beach a few hours after the pool but it appears that I did not take any pictures with my phone. We did go to Bally's beach bar to get some food. I had a shrimp ceasar salad and Sean had a delicious sandwich. And I did not take pictures of our food. What is the world coming to? Oh wait. I did have a grilled cheese sandwich earlier in the day. That, I took pictures of because I hadn't had a grilled cheese sandwich in so long. It was good!

After the beach we headed back to our room to shower and get ready for the night. We walked around Harrah's casino and just had a fun time. We laughed a lot and watch tons of people lose lots and lots of mula.

After that we stopped at a little place that served food later in the night and ordered these delicious chicken sandwiches. Sean liked them so much he ordered another one the next day. I wish I could remember right now exactly what was in the sandwich. I remember mushrooms, peppers and chicken. It was the spices that really made this sandwich incredible.

Friday morning, we headed to Asbury Park Beach and it was beautiful! It was the first weekend of reopening since Hurricane Sandy so everyone wanted to enjoy it. The waters were so blue and clean. The weather pure perfection. It really was the perfect day.

Oh and BK makes sweet potato fries. Life changing! ;)

Hoping that these pictures will hold you over until I can upload the many pictures I took with my DSLR. Have fabulous weekends!

I've heard great things about Harrah's!!! It's pretty sad that I've NEVER been to AC considering we live so close and basically everyone around here takes weekend trips there often(I'm in Maryland!) I'm not a huge fan of the Jersey shore though I've only been once. You look fabulous as always!
