My not so exciting weekend but a good one regardless.

My weekend consisted of:

Brunch on Saturday with Lisa. We visited Jumbars for the very first time. The d├ęcor is very country and the food tastes as though you made it at home but just better. It is a rather small establishment and outside seating is very limited so getting there before 11am is ideal to ensure good seating.

I ordered a Grilled Duffin as a starter and shared with Lisa but after the first bite I realized that maybe I shouldn't have, it was so good! Jumbars description of a grilled duffin is a baked cinnamon sugar doughnut shaped like a muffin. I could have added Nutella but chose not to. It didn't really taste like a doughnut to me though. Much, much better than a doughnut.

For my meal, I had a French bread French toast on a house made baguette. Lisa ordered the (not pictured, sorry!) South of the Border Omelet with organic salsa, guacamole, yellow corn tortillas, cheddar cheese and pepper jack cheese. Our food was ridiculously good.

And a whole lot of Orange is the New Black. Between House of Cards and this show I think that Netflix needs to create more orginal television shows. Good stuff!

I cleaned, did laundry and have my lunches prepared for the week. I feel pretty productive and also very relaxed to take on the new week.

I hope you all had wonderful weekends and gorgeous weather!

*slobbers on my keyboard* Your brunch looks fabulous! I watched the first episode of the second season of Orange is the New Black. I won't watch it when the little one is awake... otherwise I'm sure I would have sat there and watched the whole season. :X

I never checked out House of Cards- guess I'll have to :)

Oh my goodness, that brunch!!!! Amazing.

Agreed...more original shows! They take so long in between releasing seasons, that I need more to watch in between!

At first I was like hmmm she's regretting ordering the Duffin??? And then I read further and just couldn't stop laughing. Don't ya just hate it when that happens?! But everything looks so good. I'm sure Lisa was wishing she had ordered her own Duffin too.

Orange is the new black...for some reason, I can't get into it. Maybe I need to sit down for an entire day and actually watch it without any interruptions.
