Thank You & Weekend.

Wow, I’m blown away with the amount of silent readers that came out to say hello and introduce themselves. It was refreshing because I actually began to feel that maybe, just maybe, I’m not talking to a bunch of strangers on the Internet. I found out that a lot of readers have been reading since the very beginning, loved when I shared recipes and just found my personality funny and sweet. Many also said that they appreciated seeing how much I love Sean and that kept them reading.

I am thrilled that I made that post on Friday and will encourage y’all that blog to do the same. It was enjoyable to read and reply to many of the comments through-out the weekend, as long as the commenter was not a no-reply.

All of that to say thank you. Thank you for introducing yourselves to me. I look forward to getting to know you.

Alright, now for the weekend recap.

On Friday, I had my work Christmas party. I may have eaten too much. I tried to take as many pictures as I could without having my co-workers wonder what in the world I was doing taking pictures of food. It isn’t easy to explain that it’s for your blog when you’ve never told them you have a blog. So all of these pictures were taken in sneak mode (except for the tiramisu since I ate that at home).

Saturday was spent detoxing, going to the gym, cleaning and beginning One Tree Hill on Netflix.

Sunday evening, I had Sean’s rugby Christmas party. It was a good time. But I didn’t take many pictures again. It’s just awkward when you aren’t with a bunch of your friends that also take a ridiculous amount of pictures, and are aware of your blog. So you only get two of the evening.

Look at Sean’s fake smile. I think here he is basically praying inwardly that I don’t take anymore pictures. Prayer answered.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! xoxoxo.

I may have to do a shout out to the silent readers. Such a good idea. And I totally agree that it's a little challenging to take pictures when nobody else is. "I have a blog" isn't enough of an excuse for the rest of the people out there ;)

SO many times when I take pictures, I do it for the blog. I really just need to take more pics in general, especially of people at gatherings.

Your work Christmas party seems just awesome Faith, all that food is making me hungry haha. I loved the silent reader idea too and I think I'll try it out soon since I have your permission to do so!

I'm obsessed with Netflix! You'll have to let me know if One Tree Hill is good. I need a new show to watch.

You eat the BEST food...seriously jealous! Can I come stay with you and just wine and dine? Y'all know how to do it!

Random question but I've been wondering for a while...what's the lipstick shade you're wearing in that picture? It looks SO good on you...I need a new color and I love that one!

Fun times....weekend food fest! I too find it awkward to take pictures in certain settings. Most people don't know about my blog either. I might do a silent reader post too! I found it interesting just reading the comments on yours about why people stay silent etc.

I just ate lunch and your food and drink is making me hungry again! ha! I feel the saaaame way when I try to take pictures of things. No one but Ronnie and a couple friends know about my blog so I'm always being sneaky! ;)

I'm going to have to do a silent reader blog post too someday. I really like that you did that. "Prayer answered" made me LOL. I too get weird about taking pictures because a lot of people don't know about my blog because they don't blog.
You look lovely! Annndddd most importantly, I LOVE ONE TREE HILL!!!! From beginning to end. I was so sad when it ended. I hope you fall in love with it too!

You look so gorgeous in your sequined gold top...absolutely flawless! And I for sure know what you mean about it being awkward taking pictures of everything all the time, but I do it anyway lol.

They served lobster at your holiday party? I need to find a job that does that :-). Very nice!
So inquiring minds want to know what happened with the charity bidding event. Did you win a date with your hubby?

Loved your post about getting to know your silent readers! Look at all the peeps that LOVE you!!! I think there is something that is so genuine about you and your relationship/life/work/daily activities! I know exactly how you feel about it being awkward taking a zillion pictures. I'm sooo not good at sneaking my phone out to take meal picts... I need to work on that!
