Thank You & Weekend.

Wow, I’m blown away with the amount of silent readers that came out to say hello and introduce themselves. It was refreshing because I actually began to feel that maybe, just maybe, I’m not talking to a bunch of strangers on the Internet. I found out that a lot of readers have been reading since the very beginning, loved when I shared recipes and just found my personality funny and sweet. Many also said that they appreciated seeing how much I love Sean and that kept them reading.

I am thrilled that I made that post on Friday and will encourage y’all that blog to do the same. It was enjoyable to read and reply to many of the comments through-out the weekend, as long as the commenter was not a no-reply.

All of that to say thank you. Thank you for introducing yourselves to me. I look forward to getting to know you.

Alright, now for the weekend recap.

On Friday, I had my work Christmas party. I may have eaten too much. I tried to take as many pictures as I could without having my co-workers wonder what in the world I was doing taking pictures of food. It isn’t easy to explain that it’s for your blog when you’ve never told them you have a blog. So all of these pictures were taken in sneak mode (except for the tiramisu since I ate that at home).

Saturday was spent detoxing, going to the gym, cleaning and beginning One Tree Hill on Netflix.

Sunday evening, I had Sean’s rugby Christmas party. It was a good time. But I didn’t take many pictures again. It’s just awkward when you aren’t with a bunch of your friends that also take a ridiculous amount of pictures, and are aware of your blog. So you only get two of the evening.

Look at Sean’s fake smile. I think here he is basically praying inwardly that I don’t take anymore pictures. Prayer answered.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! xoxoxo.

  1. I may have to do a shout out to the silent readers. Such a good idea. And I totally agree that it's a little challenging to take pictures when nobody else is. "I have a blog" isn't enough of an excuse for the rest of the people out there ;)

  18. Fun times....weekend food fest! I too find it awkward to take pictures in certain settings. Most people don't know about my blog either. I might do a silent reader post too! I found it interesting just reading the comments on yours about why people stay silent etc.
