Winery Fun.

On my birthday weekend, Sean and I decided to go to the winery for some wine tasting. I love that there are several where we live and that we can go whenever the urge hits. We enjoyed a complimentary tasting of six wines. One of the wines I tried was made out of pure blueberries and it was delicious. It tasted just like, you guessed it, blueberries. I ended up purchasing a bottle of it.

I'm thinking that I'll pop it open our first night in our new house. Yes! We put an offer on a house that weekend and after some back and forth, we got it! We had the inspection last Saturday and we're waiting for the appraisal to come in. God's Willing we close on the 14th of November :).

  2. Congrats on the house!

Wineries are so much fun! The first time I went to one was a few years ago in Virginia. The wine, the mountains in the background, the guy playing guitar under a tree... it was almost like a being in another world for a few hours :)

  6. BLUEBERRIES?! WINE!!? I need that in my life. I went to the apple orchard the other week with Dom's field trip and it took everything in me not to purchase this apple cider wine stuff they had going on. Don't drink ever kids! Excuse me while I buy 5 bottles. ;) (also can I have that cheese plate you pictured?)

I am SO excited about your new house!

    Ps
    Beautiful photographs!

  9. How wonderful, Faith! Congratulations to you and your hubby! The wine tour looks like fun. My brother and I did the same when we were in SF. I'm not really a huge wine fan, but I would love the try a glass of the blueberry.
