At home: Fall

I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words in my last post. It is greatly appreciated and to be honest it was a little therapeutic to get my thoughts written out and be able to acknowledge why I've been in the funk that I've been in lately.

I was also sad to see other blog friends who are also going through losses of their own and experiencing their first Thanksgiving without their love ones. It's hard but I hope that we can all enjoy the time that we have with love ones now and continue to hold the memories of the ones now gone in our hearts.

In the hope of getting things lighter around these parts, I figured I'll share that I'm getting ready to put away our festive Fall items since our Christmas decorations are going to be in its place very soon. I'm pretty excited for this weekend to get the house all sparkly and festive for Christmas. I decided that before I start Christmas decorating and place all the Fall stuff in their respective boxes I would take a few pictures and share on this blog like I use to do back in the day.

I didn't really do too much to be honest but I have made a promise to myself that I'm going to take advantage of some after Thanksgiving sales to stock up on my fall collection for next year.

I get out of work at 12pm today so I'll most likely make a trip to the gym and then begin to prep the turkey since I'm always the one in charge of the turkey. I love prepping the turkey to be honest but I really like it when Sean is home and he gets to put his hands all up in the turkey. Since he won't be home it is all on me, boo to that.

Anyway, I hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones and enjoy eating all the food! ♥

  4. Your decorations are adorable! My fall decor seriously lacks. I desperately want to add to it, but the only thing holding me back is lack of storage.
I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving!
