First Snow

It has snowed heavily a couple more times since our first snow and each time I mutter under my breath "stupid snow". But I have to admit there is just something extraordinary about freshly fallen snow covered trees and no matter how many times I view it, it gets me every time.

And then it gets brown.

    New snow is so beautiful! But you're right. Then it's brown, slushy, dirty and gross. But when it's fresh it's amazing! Beautiful pics!

    Beautiful pictures! Snow is always so pretty until it has to be cleaned. I hate it on my car as well.

    I'm predicting I see snow in my neck of the woods this winter. It hasn't really snowed since 1985 so obviously it's a gutsy prediction. But still, I'm positive it will snow.

    Lol at the "and then it gets brown."

    I always love the first couple snows, especially when they actually cover the grass. We got ours a week or so ago but it wasn't enough to cover the grass. Doesn't count in my opinion. ;)

    Just gorgeous, Faith!! I want to print all of these out and stare at them all day...since we don't get snow like that here in Houston. I'm SOOO JEALOUS!!! Being a December baby, I guess, just makes me love SNOW so much more than most (or the lack of it here in TX). You are so talented!

    So beautiful Faith. I always find myself loving snow for a couple of days, a week tops and then hating it with a passion if it stays too long, so I get your issues, beautiful photos though!

    ohhh, sooo beautiful!!
    i love, love, LOVE snow and how pretty it makes everything. i lol at the snow-covered thistle. reminds me of when i got "attacked" by it at the pumpkin patch. even they look pretty covered in snow!! :)

    sometimes I look outside and can't believe winter is really here! I can't stand driving in it...but it sure is beautiful to watch from inside...with a cup of hot cocoa. :)

    Here in Minnesota I'm all too used to these scenes and I never take it for granted, it's all so beautiful! And the brown just makes me appreciate the bloom in spring! ;)

    I love Freshly fallen snow...when i get to have a snow day! if i have to drive in gross roads i despise it! why cant snow just be pretty and stay off the roads!

    Snow always makes me feel so cozy and safe and happy...unless I'm driving in it. Or stuck somewhere I don't want to be. Then it's awful and scary and annoying.
