Sister Weekend ♥

I’m sure you all know that I’ve been dying for a sister weekend for months. It seemed that every time we had plans, the universe would just do everything in her power to make sure it did not happen.

Well, the universe must have listened to my last warning because my sister weekend finally happened. And we had the most amazing time together.

We had a belated birthday celebration for my sister and I. We decided to do sushi for dinner and then after sushi go out for drinks.

We didn't get dressed up in costume but it was fun seeing all the other people that were dressed in costume.

Saturday evening, we dined on calamari, shrimp tempura, sushi, spicy pineapple fried rice and spicy shrimp fried rice. Not sure why I did not take pictures of the rice but it was so good.

After dinner we went back to my house to let Izabella in but my sisters got carried away with technology. So instead of a quick in and out we were laughing, taking pictures for Instagram and just not bothering to leave until an hour later. Fun stuff.

But we finally made it out.

When we got home we attempted to watch "What To Expect When You're Expecting" but were asleep within 30 minutes.

Sunday we finished the movie. It was pretty cute and funny.

My sister needed an oil change so we all went together but not before taking pictures in the street and stopping to take pictures of the foliage.

And then we proceeded to be little kids for a little while.

When we finally dropped off her car we walked around and found a popeyes and all of a sudden we all needed shrimp so we bought two shrimp tackle boxes and stuffed our faces. We also decided we needed pizza as well. And when we were able to pick up her car we had pizza as well. Delicious weekend!

We picked up my nephew who was with his dad and I can't get over how big he is. When he saw me he was so excited and ran to hug me but then when he had, had enough of me he told me to "move away!" I still can't get over that. And then his mother told him that he was not suppose to have juice until later and he said, "Fine!" I was just blown away that he knows that he can use the word "fine" in two ways. He isn't even 3 yet but he knows all his colors, to count to 100 and all the alphabets.

When we took Izy for a walk you should have seen him trying to walk Izy. Hilarious. Didn't last very long because Izy was walking him.

We ended the amazing weekend with cupcakes.

To say that I cannot wait for our next gathering is an understatement.
