Sean and I went to visit my little sister and nephew on Friday to celebrate her birthday which was on 3/27.
Since it was Easter weekend we made sure to get an Easter basket for Zach. He completely melts my heart. I mean something as simple as an Easter basket can make a child’s whole week. I won’t say if my sister had to deal with a hyper child though.
The picture on the right is the smile he gave me after I said that I would open up his Easter basket if he smiled for me.
And yeah, you only got video game.
Sean said he would watch our nephew that way my sister could go out and not have to worry about finding a sitter.
Zach was so excited to hang with Uncle Sean and did not even look twice at us when we left.
We went to a restaurant called Shadows which is on the Hudson River. It is a gorgeous restaurant and in the warmer months you can sit outside on the patio and the views are incredible. We’re making plans to go back when it’s warm.
Like the crazy person I am, I took pictures of food because, well, I like food.
My sister is obsessed with panda bears and was so excited when one of her friends gave her this as a birthday gift.
After dinner we went dancing and had such a good time. I almost felt like I was 21 again. Almost.

You're not a crazy person for wanting to take amazing food photos - I always want to whip out my SLR while in the restaurant but am usually discouraged. And my stupid BBerry makes the LOUDEST sound every time I take a photo ughhhh
