Yesterday we went to the good ole pumpkin patch. To say I was excited is a bit of an understatement. Excuse the massive amount of pictures but y'all already know how I do when I'm excited. And big thing over here, guess who I had to snatch my camera from?! I actually had to pout and be like, "I WANT TO TAKE ALL THE PICTURES!" So the pictures you see of me, Sean did not complain before he took them. He freaking wanted to take the picture. I don't really know how I feel about this change in Sean but I'm marking this as an important date in our history regardless ;).
Of course I had to find the most perfect pumpkin. It had to be the fattest and roundest pumpkin out there. I judged the pumpkin Sean chose because it just did not make the cut in my mind. When we weighed my pumpkin it was 33 lbs. Yup, it was heavy and I struggled to pick it up. But if there's a will, there's a way.
We ended our little adventure by picking up an apple slushy and apple cider for Sean. I'm not the biggest fan of apples but if it meant that I would starve I would suck it up and eat them. For a person who says Fall is their favorite season there are a two major Fall things that I do not like. Apples & Pumpkins. As for pumpkins, I couldn't suck it up and eat them. I'll most likely starve. But don't be alarmed I'm obsessed with apple cider donuts (the only type of donut I truly enjoy), oh so good!
It was such a fun day and now I'm scheduling a day to go to the winery. We passed two on our way home! Now I just have to convince Sean that he likes wine. I got this.
I hope you all have wonderful weekends! ♥

That looks like so much fun! At Christmas, y'all have to come towards our house one night. There's a place called Christmas Village. LOVE IT! We could make a double date. :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful pictures! I wish our pumpkin patch hadn't been so crowded. I couldn't get any pictures to share without people in them.
ReplyDeleteLove those pictures!! Do you edit them before posting or is it straight from the camera?
ReplyDeleteAnd you know the only way to stop the camera wars is to get Sean one for Christmas!
Beautiful picturess..Looks like fun!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the pictures! Looks like it must have been a really fun day!
ReplyDeleteDid you go in the corn maze?
I like apples but more in stuff. In other words, I am not one to sit down and eat apples but an apple pie? Yes please! Or a tart or apple cider? I'm in :-D.
Pumpkins? I am 100% with you. NOT my favorite thing. I don't like the pumpkin latte or pumpkin seeds or pumpkin pie or anything pumpkin. Hubby on the other hand, LOVES IT!
Visiting wineries is so much fun!
Have an awesome weekend!
Neato! I've never been to a pumpkin patch. Looks fun. Sheesh I'm old. I said neato, lol!!!
ReplyDeleteWhy are you two so freaking cute! GAH! I love how he's taking over your hobby ;). LOVED all the photos <3 I cant stand pumpkins either (hate the lattes and the pies), but I could always go for an apple pie slice ;)
ReplyDeleteCan't say I've ever meant someone that didn't like apples. I LOVE them:) But I don't like apple pie. Weird? Pumpkins..I can do without. I do like to use pumpkin in some of my recipes though. I'm obsessed with all the pictures. I love the mums and I can't wait to go to the pumpkin patch this weekend now!
ReplyDeleteawwww so much fun and yay for sean!
ReplyDeleteyour pumpkin is seriously perfect. like really.
i hope that ryan and i can go to a pumpkin patch, but he rarely gets home when the sun is still up. dang it.
if i dont go i will just buy a pumpkin and sit with it and look at your pictures and pretend like i got it at the patch with you haha.
haha, also i don't like apples either. i love fall, but apples not my thing, and pumpkin don't even get me started on that. people ruin perfectly good food items by throwing pumpkin flavoring in them. idiots. haha.
have a great weekend.

Awesome pics!! You have me praying we get a chance to go with Avery tomorrow morning! The one of you in the photo cutout...hilarious! You picked the perfect pumpkin too!!
ReplyDeleteloving all the photos (as usual).
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so vivid in all the photos. Do you have a super fancy camera that makes them this way?
Loving all the pumpkin shots with you guys. We're going this weekend. I hope there are some pumpkins left.
I love the way that in America there's pumpkin patches, it's a really cool concept and I hope they have one in the United Kingdom some day, seems fun even though like yourself I definitely couldn't eat pumpkin if I had to!
ReplyDeleteA REAL pumpkin patch! I'm so, so jealous of this.
ReplyDeleteWe're headed to one this weekend, and it's not going to meet all my standards of what a pumpkin patch should be/should have.
P.S. Your pumpkin is AWESOME! Might be the prettiest one I've ever seen. :)
I keep seeing Pumpkin patch posts! I need to go. I need to find one. Except I don't actually want to carve a pumpkin. I just want the experience of picking it out and these patches look so charming. How fun!!
ReplyDeletelooks like so much fun! you both are great photographers (and models), really like how the composition and colors.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun. I wish the patch we went to had apples to pick but that's a whole separate farm. We're going tomorrow and I can't wait to they have since they change it up every year.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I'm really the not a fan of the taste of pumpkins too. I wish we could do giant sweet potato picking instead!
Your pics are GORGEOUS and it looks like you had a wonderful time
ReplyDeleteGosh, you guys have so much fun together, I love it. I am taking the boys to the pumpkin patch tomorrow, I am so excited to see them run around and picking pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteWineries, can I please come with when I am not pregnant please
You look so cute at the pumpkin patch! Love the photos ;)
ReplyDeleteOoooh such gorgeous pictures!! I wish we could trade and go to eachohters pumpkin patches, the one where you live is gorgeous!! You look like you are having so much fun, all smiles. I can't beleive you had to steal the camera from Sean...he's learning! : ) And an apple slushy sounds goooood. I'm not a huge fan of apples either but pumpkin flavored things I do like. Alot. You look pretty and happy!
ReplyDeleteHaha those pictures look so fun! You've picked the prettiest pumpkin ever!
ReplyDeleteYAY fall!!!! i love all the fall pictures, especially that one of the mountain of gourds! Also....33 pounds is massive!!
ReplyDeleteYou two are the cutest!! We've never been to a pumpkin patch before but it looks like so much fun. It will definitely be on our fall list next year :)

Thank you for your sweet comment :) That meant a lot!
ReplyDeleteAs usual it looks like you and Sean had a fabulous time. Pumpkin patches are such a fun fall outing!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys had a blast! What's funny is "A" hates going to places like these because he feels we need to bring a kid with! He's in for a big surprise once our little girl is born, we are going everywhere! BTW I have never had apple cider donuts but those sound amazing. I love apples and cider and donuts so don't know how I could go wrong there. LOL
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! I'm dying at Sean and his new found addiction to your camera.
ReplyDeleteI'm sort of jealous of the whole pumpkin picking thing. It's not a thing over here...actually, the only "rite of passage" to Fall that we have is the change in weather. Bahumbug!
xo
Oh oh oh! I looooveeee your look. Can't wait til I get somewhere cold enough to rock boots & leggings...
I love pumpkin patches. So beautiful! You pictures are so great ;)

I am pretty sure everything about this post made me smile!
ReplyDeleteI'm not that big on pumpkins or apples either, but I love baked goods with apple in them. And, most recently, I discovered what the fuss was about at Starbucks. That's one very addictive latte!
ReplyDeleteThat pumpkin looks huge but, I wouldn't have guessed it weighed so much.
