2015 in Review.

I intended to do this the first few days in January but the days are already moving so quickly.
I should probably stop and not make any excuses considering we are still only in the first month of the new year.
Procrastination so early in the new year is not ideal, ha.

Celebrated my niece's 2nd birthday!

* Moved into our new home.

* Took our yearly trip to Vegas and consumed a little too much food!

We adopted Walker.
It's crazy how small he looks in this picture compared to how he looks now!

* Celebrated Sean's birthday and our 8th dating anniversary.

Colleen came for a visit and shared her beautiful pregnant self and helped me figure out our mantel.

IMG_8905 IMG_8896

* Celebrated my "little" sister's 30th birthday.

IMG_8942 IMG_8921

* Took my family to Crayola Experience.

IMG_9997 IMG_9975

* Went to a music festival with my co-workers, turned great friends.

* Found a little beach in PA and spent a quality day together. Just us.

My sweet mother passed away from cancer and it's the hardest thing I've ever dealt with but my family, husband & friends are proving to be huge supports and I'm surviving.

* Sean booked a surprise trip to our favorite place, Vegas. It truly helped to throw some much needed happiness back in my life.

Celebrated my "little" sister's 27th birthday.
It was also our first gathering with all of us present since my mom had passed away.

* Began to place some much needed attention into our new home and I'm excited to continue in the new year.

IMG_1828 IMG_1843

* My sister visited and we did all the fun things.
Winery, Celtic fest, eating and of course the good ole Farmers' Market.

IMG_1884 IMG_1856

Sean threw me a surprise party and my family and closest friends were in attendance.
This day I was in higher spirits than I had been in a long while.

2015, what a life changing year you were and to be honest I was a little too happy to leave it all behind.

Not noted in this recap was the million times I went to see my mom and my unpredictable emotions but of course I'm sure you all know this by now. One thing this review of 2015 showed me is that life does move on and it's not just a cliché saying anymore.

It is up to me to decide how I'm going to respond to life when it throws huge curveballs my way.
I can either choose misery or happiness. I've chosen happiness and truly hope that 2016 translates that.

What's crazy is I remember most of these posts and it feels like they just happened yesterday. I know it was the hardest year for you, but I'm glad you saw the good in it too. I pray and hope that this year proves to be much happier and calm. <3

Love this recap. You left a big piece of you in 2015 but I pray 2016 brings you so much joy to fill that void.

Hi Faith...I keep writing and deleting my comment because I'm having a hard time coming up with the right words. That picture of your beautiful mom really gets to me. May god bless her sweet heart and soul! What a brave woman. You and your sisters are carrying on the incredible legacy that she left behind and she lives on forever in your hearts! I'm with Eesh.....may you be surrounded by love and light...and may 2016 be the year of health, happiness, and healing!

And now I'm in my office crying. 2015 was a rough year. So many moments of happiness but also some of the saddest moments of life. Life really is funny that way. It's always yin and yang, good or bad, but regardless a constant flow of continuance and it's up to you to either stay in the moment or grow and change for the better from it. Love you dearly. And can't wait to see what 2016 holds for you!!!!
