I received a request about one month ago to share more house posts. Since I was already taking pictures of the brunch I threw two weekends ago, I decided to take a few pictures of the house to share as some sort of house update.
I’m still working on completing several rooms around the house but I’m glad to report that I think that the sitting area, kitchen, dining area and bathrooms are good to go! I’ll try to share more house posts as additional rooms become complete but to be honest it's taking quite some time to complete as we're trying to purchase with intention vs. spontaneity these days.
This wall was empty for nearly three years because I really wanted to love whatever it was that was placed there. It is funny that when you finally come across the piece you just know it. I feel that this round wall art completes this room and I’m so glad to finally have it crossed off the list. For a while I thought it would be empty for a very long time.
I went back and forth on purchasing the Moroccan pouf for quite some time and finally ordered it.
It's the perfect foot rest and adds a nice touch to our sitting area.
I believe that the food wall in the dining area is also complete. The three pieces on the far right side were just added a few weeks ago. The awesome thing about this wall is that I can switch out food pictures to update when I choose and since I'm always taking pictures of food it won't be a hard task to complete. Every single person who has visited our house has stopped to stare at the food pictures on the wall. It's such a great conversation starter and it's always fun to share where each picture was taken, etc.
This wall in the kitchen was also empty for nearly three years and then I found this tree of life wall art and it came home with me.
I love it on this wall and just realized that it appears that I might like circular items!
Here's also some pictures of the deck. We spend so much time here during the spring/summer
so it feels like an extension of our house. I have plans to add greenery to spruce it up a bit but it is not high on our list right now.
And last Friday, we finally hung the chandelier that we bought while we were in Vegas earlier this year!
I can't help but stop and stare each time I pass it. I'm serious, these pictures do it absolutely no justice.
And a few more because when I start taking pictures I can't seem to stop.

He's going to be 10 in two weeks!
We just had landscaping done in front of the house so I’ll make sure to share some before and after pictures soon. It’s not a major change as we kept the plants we already had and just added a few more. The major change was choosing red mulch which I love since it is such a nice contrast against our very brown house. We have plans to work on our backyard next year.

SIGHS. I love your house so much! It's so light and airy. I love how intentional you were choosing pieces. My house is a mish-mash of things my mom bought. I'd really like to do a major overhaul but money... and not wanting to hurt her feelings. I love all your circular pieces and the new chandelier ! Gorgeous.

I love everything- still so jealous of those high ceilings in your kitchen, and now I want the furniture on your deck, the sunburst mirror over your fireplace, A fireplace, those yellow chairs, the blanket I have on my rocking chair to hang perfectly like yours always is.....
